Perfect for winter weather - Comfort and Style! My first winter in New England, and I realized that my West Coast shoes were inadequate for the weather here. I wanted something that was waterproof, warm, provided stability in inclement weather, but at the same time didn't sacrifice style. Ladies, this boot is it!

Super cute, comfy, warm & dry - This boot is nearly perfect -- the heel gives it a nice sexy look, but it is totally stable on snow & ice; it's warm outside, but you don't overheat while inside (I've been wearing these all day at work with none of the usual hot/cold/sweating you get with cheaper boots). The slight platform seems to make them even more comfortable (your foot isn't right next to the ground, snow, ice, etc). The buckle is SUPER cute; and the suede is heavy - total quality. PLUS - I feel great knowing that they are made in Canada (I lived in Montreal - you better believe they know cold AND fashion up there). My only concern is that the suede was a bit scuffed when I received them - looked like just from being in the box. I am not sure how the suede will wear in general - I am hoping for the best 'cause I just bought a second pair of La Canadiennes! Lastly - I ordered a full size up so I can wear socks (smartwool dress socks).

Wonderful, warm boot - This is definitely the shoe that I reach for when it is cold outside--it looks great and feel warm and wonderful. I have huge problems with my feet and spend a lot of time looking for shoes that are comfortable. This one fits the bill, and although I sometimes wonder whether I like the buckle strap across the top, I always get lots of compliments and it matches virtually everything in my closet. I could not live without this boot!

Wonder boot - Unbelievable boot. So comfortable, and I usually never wear heels. The traction is pretty good too-- I wore them on a snowy day and walked down an icy street without any fear of slipping. AND they keep your feet toasty inside. How can a boat accomplish so much and still look this good? I do not know. I love mine. Very ladylike and elegant with touch of rock n roll. Fabulous.

Getting ready for winter in the north! These boots are amazing. I usually don't wear heels, but the heel is sturdy and it's quite easy to walk in. I'd rather buy one pair of these boots than three or four pairs of any other shoes/boots. This is my 2007 investment. Loved the boots I bought from La Canadienne last year. They are black suede, I wore them through all sorts of weather, and they still look like new. They were warm, dry, stylish and practical. What more do we want? This brand has it all! I'll keep adding a pair each year. I have a feeling that these boots don't wear out too quickly. They are so stylish they are worth the investment!

Scuffed before I got them, but very cute! I ordered these in black suede and they arrived with scuff marks on the heels and sides--the suede looked rubbed off. Very disappointing because they fit really well and make my size 10 feet look smaller! For the money, though, I decided the quality should be higher for an ankle boot. Love the platform though.

Great Shoe! Perfect fit, these are SO soft inside and heel height is perfect, not too high. They look so cute and sassy with the buckle, and I love that they are waterproof also. Never bought this brand before, but I'm ordering it in black today! Very pleased.
