It just got cold enough for me to wear these new boots. I can't speak to the waterproof treatment yet, but I can tell you these boots are so comfortable and warm. The stability from the wedge is much appreciated. I love them and if the waterproof treatment holds up this winter, too, they will be totally worth the price. Feels a tad roomy, but that might just allow for a sock. Wearing mine commando and I have wiggle room, though not so much as to affect stability.

These boots are great! I live in the Tahoe area and winters are cold and snowy. These boots are warm, stylish, comfortable, and have great traction as well as weather proofing. I love the La Canadienne brand as I got a different pair last year and they have been wonderful. I cannot wear my orthotics in these, but I put one of the insoles from a pair of Clarks in them and that is the next best thing. After all, I am not hiking in these!

These boots are a fantastic combination of fashion and function. I live in the Lake Tahoe area and winters are cold and snowy. These are stylish and feminine, but also warm, comfortable, have great traction and are weatherproof. I cannot wear my orthotics with these, so I added a nice OTC insole and that is good enough. They are great for general wearing all day. Last year I got the brown Felicia and they have been great. This year I wanted a bit taller and black. These are really cute with almost everything!

I love these boots more than any others I have ever owned. The wedge provides height and stability; they can be worn in all weathers as they are waterproof; so comfortable that I wear them on long flights or all day at work and hardly know I am wearing them. Elegant but substantial, can be dressed up or down. I bought these boots a month ago and I have worn them almost every day. Winter is more bearable as a result of these fabulous boots!
