As a huge fan of granny boots, and more recently, of La Canadienne, this trend-perfect pair of lace-ups was a splurge that I could not resist! True to my other La Canadienne's, my normal size 6½ fit well. I have a somewhat narrow and very shallow foot, and these leave me with plenty of room for boot socks, or tights paired with medium socks, comfortably. The suede is soft and plush, with La Canadienne's fabulous lining and squishy memory foam insole, and the rubber wedge gives these stability as well as style. I do wish the shaft were a bit more narrow, as tightened all the way I still have a bit of extra room, but that is certainly not a deal-breaker. I am well-pleased with these beauties!

I have very narrow calves and found that the Kimber fit them extremely well. These are super comfortable boots, and so well-made! The only problem for me was that the width of the foot bed was a little large, and I had a feeling that it would get larger with wear, affecting the overall fit and look of the boot over time. The style is super cute, but you can only tighten the boot so much even with the laces. Perhaps a little bit of goring would help the boot, and the ankle could be a touch more fitted. Was very sad to send them back.
