This brand is my GO TO shoe for winter. The craftsmanship and comfort are outstanding. It's so difficult to find winter shoes that maintain femininity (sorry UGG), but La Canadienne does!!!

While I loved these boots, something was off with this purchase and I had to return them. The suede and soles were extremely scuffed and the packaging looked recycled, it came in a generic box with no wrapping. Not okay for a such an expensive purchase. Either the boots are poor quality, or Zappos sold me a pair of used boots and did not check their inventory very well before it left the warehouse. This is the first time this has happened to me with Zappos, and I am so surprised, as they are normally amazing.

Very comfortable. True to size, although I go up a 1/2 size for winter boots so I can wear thicker socks with the boots. This boot is still comfortable at a 1/2 size larger. They are high because of the wedge, but you don't get any discomfort from the angle of the foot bed. I could walk long distances in these boots and they look great with jeans. I have a normal size 9 foot and wear a 9.5 with thicker socks in these boots.

Great waterproof boot! These boots are a good compromise between style, heel height, and functionality. I'm surprised more mfrs don't attempt to make a stylish waterproof boot that's comfortable and still has decent heel height - 2.25 inches e.g. These are wedges with a slight platform so your foot is in a comfortable position. They are La Canadienne, which means good quality. They are warm as well, and best of all waterproof! The sole has enough traction for wet and snowy conditions. And still the boot is decently attractive - not the most gorgeous shape in the world, but a lot less clunky than other waterproof boots. A very good boot!

I am 100% pleased with these stylish and entirely comfortable boots. (I did go up a half size to accommodate socks and am glad I did.) The wedge heel is particularly appreciated because it adds height without the downside of instability or discomfort. This is an altogether splendid product.
