Considering I own at least three pairs of La Canadienne's classic wedge-heeled shoes (all purchased through Zappos) it was just a matter of time before I bit the bullet and purchased La Canadienne's Gaetana boot. This boot, unlike its look-alike shoe-cousins, is more difficult to put on and pull off. Once the boots are in place, however, they're so comfortable, you can easily forget you're wearing them. I actually prepped and prepared an entire holiday dinner (several hours of standing) while wearing these boots. But, as I said earlier, they are not easy to remove. The secret is to always wear them with a silky sock or stocking (nylon/spandex/microfiber, etc.) I can get them off by myself, but it's much simpler to have my husband pull them off for me. Never wear them barefoot! You have been warned!

This is a very nice looking boot, and comfortable for something that has a wedge/heel (as opposed to something flat). I wore it all day in the city walking around, and my heel did start to hurt, and I wished I had word walking shoes, but if you're not walking tons, it's fine.

Amazing quality, exceptional service, great comfort. I bar tend and I spend a lot of hours on my feet, by the end of the day in these boots I can still walk unlike most other boots of this height I owned. Love these boots! I bought them in black microfiber. The fit is perfect. I put an arch support in them because I have arch issues.I do this with all of my shoes though. I teach preschool and I am standing for a lot of my day and I can wear them comfortably all day long. I have received compliments on these boots when I wear them. They look great with dresses and skirts. They are absolutely waterproof. I live in Oregon where it rains for the better part of the calendar year and the water just beads up and runs off these boots. My feet stay warm with tights on but not overheated. Thank you La Canadienne!

Love this boot! Comfortable and lightweight since it's not leather. The leg opening is fairly narrow. I am 5 ft tall so the size 5 was fine for me. May be too narrow in the leg for some.

These are great all weather boots for skinny calves! I have a hard time finding boots that don't look too big around my legs. La Canadienne's are great. I've worn these in snow, rain, mud, and they hold up well. Great everyday boot! I found it to be true to size. I'm still able to wear these over jeans, and they have a leg-hugging fit.

This is the most comfy pair of boots ever! And all 5 ft less 2 inches & 95 lbs of me fit it perfectly. The brand is usually a good bet but this one is by far my fave. I stuck an extra insole in them for support. I can run all day in 'em.

If you are looking for an all purpose/weather boot, look no further! This boot will look great with virtually anything day or night. I was hesitant to purchase this boot due to the high price and it being made only from microfiber, but am extremely pleased with the quality and construction. The boot is sleek and stylish, very waterproof, and easy to walk in. I walk a minimum of 30 city blocks, and countless flights of stairs a day with ease. I have very muscular calves and skinny ankles, but have no problem with the fit. The description is a little misleading as to the padding in this boot (I don't feel any memory foam at all) none the less still comfortable and money well spent.

I love these boots! This is my second pair. Bought the other pair a few years ago and they still look new but I wore the inside down from so much use. I call these my sneaker boots, because if I have a lot of running around to do, they are what I reach for, clothing choice comes afterward. They make your calves feel good with the compression of the stretch fabric, best of all, no leather, so they are vegetarian friendly. La Canadienne, please make a vegetarian friendly clog!

Fabulous! So comfortable, like putting on a pair of socks. I have bunions so I can be a hard fit but these are great. They do fall a little around the calves, but other than that they are perfect.

This is a wonderful boot. I needed something dressy enough to wear with a dress and skirts, but comfortable enough to do a lot of walking during a month-long business trip to Europe this fall. These boots fit the bill! They are super comfortable, lightweight and waterproof (water beads up on them), but they are also stylish. Several people along the way asked me where I had gotten these cool boots.
