These boots look fabulous with anything and are toasty warm with the liner. I have been waiting to wear these since summer. My calves measure at 15 inches, and they fit just fine over them. Great boots.

La Canadienne's Blanche - These boots are very comfortable and warm. I got it in cherry crincle which is very eye catching. It is also true to the size. I am 8 1/2, but ordered size 9 and it fits exactly how I wanted - with some room in there to wear with socks.

The Canadians know how to make a warm, comfortable, and cute boot. They look great with skirts or pants. The patent leather is really shiny, but that is growing on me. Definitely recommend them.

La Canadienne Blanche- Ordered them in the Cherry Crinkle and they are definitely REDDER than what the photograph show... so make sure red is your color! The comfort is awesome and they seem to run a little large. I used to wear a 9 1/2 to 10 but after my pregnancy my foot stretched to a 10 or 10 1/2 so 10's seem to run smaller on me sometimes but this 10 is just great and has room to spare!! So downsize at least 1/2 a size! The quality looks and feels great and after debating whether to order it in the black instead, my neighbors thought that the red, overall, was just "it". So I’m keeping them! And I'll be ordering more from La Canadienne just for the comfort issue, amazing!!

Got them in black, and they're as cute and comfortable as promised by all the reviews below. Also, I'm 5'1", and the height is great on me, not overpowering. But I'm on the fence about keeping them ONLY because I don't trust the sole on ice in the winter. Does any previous reviewer have comments on their traction?

My favorite boots - Loving these boots-- not only are they so much fun to look at, they are one of the most comfortable pair of boots I've ever owned. I bought the cherry crinkle color (my boyfriend thinks they are really cute) and went back for the black pair, but none were available in my size. Why am I not suprised?? I'm still checking to see if someone returns a pair so i can buy them.

Perfect boots, best I've ever owned - To the reviewer wondering if the sole is decent on slick surfaces, my answer is yes. I live in the Colorado mountains, and these boots can hold their own on our snowpacked, sloping sidewalks. I also wore them in England this past November in incredibly cold, wet weather. My feet were not cold once and I am always freezing. They're versatile enough that you can wear them with skirts or jeans. I wanted to get the Cherry Crinkle too but they're out of my size. So, I just ordered the La Canadienne Jen, and can't wait to get them. I'll be a longtime customer of this brand. Incredible craftsmanship. Worth the money, without a doubt.

Too cute for words - These boots are so much better in person. I got the cherry crinkle patent and they make me happy when I look at my feet. They are super comfortable. I wear a 9 1/2 and had to exchange for a 10.

Beautiful no-room-to-spare boots! Gorgeous shade of red, however I had to exchange for a half size larger because the fit was too true -- no room for wiggling toes (or wearing socks). But otherwise very happy with this boot and can absolutely recommend!

These boots are like wearing slippers! They have a delightful amount of cushioning inside so they are not only fun and stylish but great for everyday wear and long days on your feet. Adorable with skirts!

Extremely comfortable at the feet. Tip: if you need more toe space, you don't have to go up a size-- just trim the front off the removable insoles. My one complaint: they are too loose in the leg, not as slim as they appear in the picture. These are definitely NOT 13 1/2 circumference as the description claims-- it's actually closer to 15".

Awesome!!! These could be the best boots I've ever worn. As a hairstylist I need shoes with support and to be fashionable. I found them, finally!!! I wear them with everything and everywhere. I also have the red pair only in a half size smaller. They are a little deceiving at first. They seem like they might run a little small, but they definitely stretch with wear. I would say they run true to size. Get these boots....you won't regret it.

Great boot! I am 5'2", 110 lbs., with a calf girth of 13". I ordered this boot in a 7.5 W. I have wide, problematic feet and I never get to wear cute shoes. I have a high instep and feet that are so painful that I can't tolerate any pressure points from shoes. That said, now I can say I love these boots! They are cute, with the patent leather, wedge heel, and square toe. And they really do feel like bedroom slippers. The ankle and calf fit great, too.

La Canadienne Blanche - This is my first pair of shoes ever from La Canadienne, and I am hooked! I based my purchase on the excellent reviews from Zappos customers. Not only are these boots styling for winter, they are warm and comfortable. Also, they have excellent traction on slick surfaces. I live in Anchorage, Alaska. So the boots are a complete package for me; style, comfort, and safety all in one! This pair of boots is worth every penny. I will definitely buy again from this vendor.
