These just arrived today, and I'm in love! I'm a big fan of La Canadienne because their shoes and boots are stylish, comfortable and great quality. The Bessie mules are no different...the shearling is soft and warm, the wedge is a good height but doesn't feel too high, so they should be okay in the ice and snow. Once again, I'm thrilled with my La Canadienne purchase.

Love these shoes. Warm, super comfortable, and look great. Living in a colder environment a lot of times you have to sacrifice style for warmth but feel like these accomplish both. Expensive but I think well worth it.

This is a beautiful shoe, too. I ordered both this and the "Ivy," and kept Ivy because I have a small foot. This has a rounder front and would look good on a larger foot, I think, but it is more "clog-like" than the Ivy, which I totally love for its sleek sophistication. Both are beautiful shoes, well made, comfortable, and warm.

This is very cushy and comfortable, I usually wear a size 7½-8, and the 7½ fit me, unlike other la Cannadiene shoes, which felt too tight at that size. I wish the heel were a little lower, or there was a little more platform at the toe, but I think they will be stylish throw-on shoes this winter.

I love these shoes. The only problem that I have, is that I am not used to a heel that is this high. I sometimes "fall off" the shoe when walking on uneven streets...they are also a little bit narrow in the front, but have relaxed as I have continued to wear them. Otherwise, extremely comfortable.

This shoe is very comfortable and warm with the shearling lining. It's just a little bit higher than I would have liked but no problem. Excellent traction on snow!

I really love these! Comfy and true to size. Just broke my foot this summer and these are the first shoes with any heel elevation that don't hurt! Yay! I wish they came in other colors!

I love these shoes! Extremely comfortable. Exactly what I've been looking for. They didn't have my size in stock so I tried a half size larger and they were a perfect fit. Definitely worth the price.

This is a very comfortable shoe, especially given the height of the heel. I own my own boutique and I'm on my feet all day, and this shoe is perfect for me. Also, I love that it keeps your feet warm even without wearing socks. The shoe looks very classy with pants or wearing tights and a skirt. This is the 2nd pair of La Canadienne shoes I've bought, and I love them both. Excellent brand...great quality product.
