I returned these boots (in black) for a different La Canadienne style. They are adorable and the leather is extremely soft, but so soft that the top seemed floppy. They are also a little short; mid-calf. The top could be turned up to wear under jeans. They run big; I ordered 10, my usual size, and they were too large.

These are the best boots! Amazing quality. I have worn these almost everyday during the winters for the past five years. I got them for college when I went to Cornell because I heard Ithaca winters are intense, and they are just as durable and attractive now as the day I bought them. They have been through snow and rain, and they are completely waterproof, and extremely warm. I feel like I will wear these for the rest of my life. I just love them!

Very pretty, soft and light hiking-style boots. However, fit is a little odd in that they are smaller in the front toe area when compared to the back heel area. Back heel area also has weak support. You can't tuck pants into the boots, and if you pull jean bottoms over the boots, then you can't see the boots except for the bumps through the pants. So only way I can wear them is with tights, then my legs would be cold in winter weather. I'm afraid I have to return these, but Zappos service was amazing, as usual.

I really love these boots. They look just like the photo. They are really comfortable and well made. I wear a size 12 and so finding shoes that fit well isn't easy, but these are great. Of course if I wore a smaller size, I might look for a less expensive boot. But given the circumstances, I'm very happy.

I purchased these boots four years ago and I absolutley love them. They are attention getters. Too many compliments to count. Make sure you use suede protectant to protect them from the elements. They are comfortable, warm and cute. Get them now; the price has already doubled since I bought them.

Be careful buying La Canadienne products. I bought a pair of boots that were supposed to be waterproof, and they are not. Worse, the manufacturer is not doing anything for me - i.e. replacing the boots or refunding me. Nice looking boots, but lousy company.

Warm, waterproof, comfortable, great style, true to size. I am 53 and bought a pair for myself. My 21 year old college daughter needed a pair of hip, waterproof boots for college. She tried on mine, and then bought her own pair. She wore them every day she was home and they are perfect for upstate New York winters! La Canadienne can always be counted on. You can turn up the cuff to give a longer sleeker slightly dressier look to the boot.

I debated between this one and Ugg boots, but I finally got these because they look cuter. They are also very warm, but I live in San Francisco so sometimes I don't really need them. But I am a little bit addicted to La Canadienne boots and I think the price is reasonable for comfy shoes. If you need something that keep your shoes warm, I think you should definitely try these.

The laces on this boot are purely decorative, and don't provide any fit adjustment. The fit slightly small. They are better looking and more structured than Uggs, but just as fuzzy. I tried them, but I kept a different La Canadienne style, not this one.
