I bought these slippers for my 94 year old dad who is still pretty active. He had a pair for years that he loved because he could wear them out in the yard, too. I got the "D" width which he said felt a little narrow (he wears socks with his slippers). I think they will be comfortable once they are "broken in". Overall, great slippers. They arrived overnight. I love Zappos!

My husband likes leather slippers and they are becoming hard to find. The Zappos are a very good quality and fit true to size. I would purchase again, if these ever wear out.

I purchased this slippers for my father (83 yrs). He is very pleased with the shoe because it provides the support he needs, and the rubber bottoms are excellent because he will not slip if walking on a wet surface.

I bought these for my father to replace a similar pair he'd had for over 30 years. The selection of sizes offered is excellent; L.B.Evans had several pairs in the EEE-width that he needs. My father's old slippers had leather soles, so these having harder soles will, I hope, give him better traction. The only drawback, and this again is comparing to that old pair, is that pair was made out of glove leather and was buttery soft. This pair is harder leather and not quite as accommodating. Perhaps a breaking-in period will soften them up a little. He does find these slippers comfortable, and he and I are both happy with the purchase!

I purchased these for my husband. He has a very narrow foot and even though I could not find the exact same slipper I had bought him a few years ago, I found this one only in a medium width. Surprisingly, they were fine. It was nice to find them on-line as they are impossible to find in stores.

I purchased these slippers for my 77 year old father for Christmas. He had been looking for these slippers at the retail stores for a long time unsuccessfully. These slippers are like a pair I had purchased for him years ago. On Christmas morning, he was so surprised to see the slippers there before him. Very snappy. They need to break in a touch as they are leather. I wear mine in the office so I can slip my shoes off under my desk. They look like a simple pair of dress shoes to the unobservant. I picked them out because they are the same style as a pair I inherited from my grandfather that I have long since worn out.

I bought these slippers for a theatrical production. I love the classic look of them (the show I was designing took place in the 1930's) and I also liked that they had a full solid sole. The actor who wore them said they were very comfortable and that he was surprised slippers had so much support. All around I'd say thumbs up!

The slippers I really wanted were not in stock and I bought these. They are not as comfortable as I had hoped.They have a hard sole, so they can be worn in the yard. I would not buy these again. I will still purchase from Zappos because of their good values.
