I am so glad that I did purchase a new pair. I purchsed two pairs of the Imperial Deer from a L.B. Evans dealer in Chicago twenty five years ago. One pair I worn for twenty three years and still looks good except for some stains I could not get them off. The second pair still looks pretty new. I decided to purchase a third pair if I can find a Evan's dealer. I searched all the Queens shoe stores but failed to find one. I told my daughter about it. She suggested that I look into the internet but hesitated to purchase it from Zappos because some customer's comments that it is now made in China. Because of Zappos' 110% refund promise, I decided finally to try it. I am so glad that I did. The pair came a week ago and I even hesitated to open the box. But when I open the box it brightened my eyes. It was in every way an LB Evan's slipper and in every way better than the US made Evans'. I have worn it since and it was so comfortable so yesterday I threw the first pair away. KKW in Queens, NY

Great Slipper! Best Xmas gift for Dad for over 20 years! Evans Imperial slipper has been Dad's favorite for over 20 years. Xmas would not be the same without this gift. At 78 years old, he wears this slipper year round as a regular day time walking shoe. Dad raves about the comfort, look and overall wear. I used to purchase Evan's at Nordstrom's but they recently came up with their own name brand which is not the same quality as the original Evans. The Nordstrom's model is less expensive, but the quality does not measure up. I am glad to have found Zappos online so that I can contine the tradition. I give this slipper five gold stars! You can't go wrong with this one.

Great for granddads - I have worn this shoe for the last 10 to 15 years with much pleasure. I find it very conveinent to be able to wear this shoe both inside and out without having to worry about the soles. I have taken the older shoes and used them for my real "dirty" work outside and use the newer pair for inside wear. Great comfort and one of the few shoes I can find in EEE width.

The only slippers he'll ever wear. This is my husband's second pair of L.B. Evans slippers. He asked for them specifically. His first pair lasted 10 years. He loves the comfort and the look, and how well they hold up. He is very happy with them.

L.B. Evans Imperial Deer - This is probably the sixth pair of this slipper that I have purchased. Living in as small a community as Carmel I was not able to purchase another pair locally. Thank goodness for the internet and you. And gratefully I was able to toss the worn out pair I had been wearing into the trash.

Long-time Favorite - This purchase was made to replace an identical pair of L.B. Evans shoes which lasted several years and had themselves replaced an earlier identical pair. The shoes are satisfactory in every way, and I have no desire to seek out an alternative style or brand to replace them. They are comfortable and sturdy enough to be worn outdoors to retrieve the morning paper in the rain.

Great slipper - I have always used this slipper, purchasing it at retail stores. I can no longer find it that way and so I ordered it through your .com. I have this slipper in black (or dark navy). Do you ever carry this color or only the tan. It is very comfortable and durable and would like another color. Let me know when the darker color can be purchased.

Great Slipper - My husband will only wear these slippers and has been doing so for many years. They're comfortable and durable yet increasingly difficult to find in stores. He needs a new pair every 5 years or so (usually less frequently than that) and I'm glad Zappos has them for me.

Comfortable, but expensive slipper - I had bought this slipper from Nordstrom's for less than the Zappos' price, but the right shoe was sewn incorrectly. I tried to get a replacement from Nordstrom, but they were sold out. Because this was a Christmas present for my husband, I had to buy the similar, but more expensive pair from Zappos. It's nonetheless, an excellent slipper from an excellent supplier.

PERFECT - Dad has a wide foot and it's very difficult to find comfortable slippers. He loves these. They are high quality and quite attractive and very comfortable.

Husband loves these, possibly more than me! Husband won't wear anything else... one pair number #3. Deerskin is so soft, but good support. He wears them for a quick errand run in the car, to take the dog out, and puts them on immediately after work and they stay on until bedtime. Added plus is they come in wide widths, which he needs and are hard to find! Great slippers!

Imperial Deer is a Dear Shoe - I bought this shoe for my husband to replace a similar pair which was, to put it mildly, worn out. He is extremely pleased & finds them most comfortable. In addition, both of us are both delighted & amazed by your service. We will order again.

Comfortable - I usually wear a size 11, but I ordered these in a size 12, as they are supposed to be "slippers" where you can slip your feet into. They turned out to be just right for "slipping" into.
