This is the only style of house shoe my husband really likes. I delayed a long, long time in ordering these because of mixed reviews I'd read on this 'model,' but finally he wanted me to 'just do it' because he desperately needed some. The order came *immediately* (a plus for sure) and has been fine so far. They were the size that is normally roomy enough, but these had to be worn for a while (week or two, nightly) to get stretched to a more comfortable fit. But, it was doable, didn't have to re-order. He's happy with them now. He's only had them a month, but there are no signs yet of premature wear. Good transaction, good product: I would be glad to shop here again. I will stop short of 5 stars since the fit was tight at the beginning.

I own their Opera slippers which I bought in 2005. The stitching is going and I hope to have it fixed, but they are great slippers. They have an all leather sole insert and uppers. The provide flexible but solid footing. I ordered these to have while finding out if the old ones are worth fixing. I ordered the same size, 10½EEE. These run small and very narrow. EEE is really more like a typical C or even narrower. I would order one size larger than your normal. All said these are lovely slippers. They have great workmanship. And are highly recommended.

As with all products I have bought at Zappos these are top quality. If my Dachshund "MAX" tries to get them I know they must be good. These do feel a bit narrower, next pair I\'ll order wider ones. The overall workmanship is above average. I use them around the house all the time.

LB Evans - A great and Comfy Indoor Slipper - Nice and comfy. Feels like a shoe but is a sleek indoor slipper. Mine last for approximately 2 years before I buy another pair and I wear the heck out of them. Worth the money and well made. I had fuzzy or flat footed slippers, these suit my needs well. Now my wife wants a pair!

Lounging in Luxury - Excellent craftsmanship! These slippers were designed for my feet; fit like a glove. My feet have never been more relaxed, especially when walking on any surface. Good traction on sole. Easy to clean and store. Thks!

Very Casual- A cool pair of shoes that really define the term casual. Just put some trousers, pants or jeans and you're simply ready to hit the competition. I felt at ease plus they look great.

Men's Slippers - At first my husband was not happy that I bought him a new pair of slippers. Most of us prefer the old, down in the heel frayed ones we've been wearing for many years. To my delight he switched immediately to this new pair and loves the comfort and great style and feels better walking out to get the paper every morning.

L.B. Evans Duke Opera Slipper - My husband had an old pair and I couldn't find any stores that carried this type of slipper. Zappo's.com was wonderful. As for the slippers, my husband finds them very comfy. I ordered a half size larger than he normally wears.

Great shoe for relaxing - My husband wanted a shoe (what he calls a houseshoe) that he could step outside in for a moment which wouldn't fall apart. He loves this one because it is very comfortable and yet dressy enough that he wore it to a restaurant recently.

Slippers - The slippewrs were a present for my father . He used to wear some like them when I was a little girl. After surgery my father wanted to have slippers to wear, but found that all the ones locally were too narrow and not comfortable. I had ordered some other products from you and thought that perhaps you would have the slippers that he wanted. It was a great christmas present. Thanks

Elegant and comfortable classic slipper! I bought these slippers as a gift for my father. He loves LB Evans as it is a brand known for quality craftmanship. I selected the burgundy and it is so dashing--a rich, slightly glossy leather. It is also the most versatile of colors as it looks good with everything. These have a soft-heel so you get the support of a heel without the hardness of a traditional hard heel. Perfect! The Zappos price is a much better deal than in any of the upscale stores where these are sold. ( Bloomingdales, Lord&Taylor, Marshall Field's,etc) The delivery was fast and effecient!

bring back Daniel Green operas - Thw original Daniel Greene orera indoor and out door slipper was absolutely the finest foot ware of its type ever made. I'm saddened to hear of its demise. Iagree with Mr.Schultz of Orlando Fla.,NO slipper can beat the Daniel Greene of old.Wore three pair for approx. 20yrs.
