I am 83 years old and not steady on my feet. My old slippers have a rubber sole and they tend to grab on a carpeted floor and can cause me to fall. I need a backless slipper with a sole that slides on a carpeted floor. I considered your cuff slipper, but the PVC sole might grip on the floor. I therefore chose the Aristocrat scuff with its leather sole. I received the slippers yesterday and was pleased with them. They are slightly tight but I am keeping then. Excellent workmanship. Thank you.

Great quality and comfort. Other reviewers suggested buying 1 size larger, but that was too big and I had to return. 1/2 size larger is just right.

I bought these slippers for my husband who is very particular about his clothing/shoes. If there hadn\'t been the offer of a free return, I would never have dared. These slippers, however, are both elegant and beautifully well-made. Definite keepers!

So happy! I had been trying to buy a present for my father, who wanted new slippers, and I had already been through 4 slippers that I bought and returned on Zappos when I found this one. After buying it wide and 1 1/2 size larger than I anticipated needing, as reviewers suggested, I finally found a slipper my dad loved! Comfort to the max! This is the second time I have ordered the same slippers for my husband. He wore the first pair out so bad I had to discard while he was not home and already have the second pair waiting. Very very comfortable!

Worth the wait! Thanks to the reviews, my husband ordered a full size and a half larger than his usual shoe size... resulting in a perfect fit. When we originally placed the order, the desired size was not available, but Zappos notified us promptly when the back order was in. Great service! Great shoe! You won't be disappointed.

Sizing not clearly specified - I ordered these slippers for my Father who is a size 8.5 (men) and the slippers came as an 8.5 for women. I then had to order a 9.5 and he finally got the right size. It was never specified as Men or Women slippers...

Finally! Classic men's slipper - My boyfriend really wanted the kind of slippers he remembered his grandfather having, but it is so hard to find this type of shoe! One would imagine it would be easier. Anyway, the shoe is great--classic styling, great materials, and the b/f thinks they're very comfortable! Had to send back first pair because size was too small (DEFINITELY buy at least one full size larger than usual!) but Zappos was absolutely wonderful--easy return process and prompt credit! Have already placed another order for shoes for myself--yay for Zappos and their huge selection and great customer service!!

Size runs one size too small - I ordered this Scuff 5 years ago in a different color. Ordered the same size this time, but it was a full size too small. No problem...Zappos makes returns easy and I just ordered the next size up. Zappos customer service is superb!

Big feet - I have had L.B. Evans slippers before. However, the size and width seems to be different-it varies even though it is the same length and width.
