Kumfs are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn bar none. I have tried these on in shops in New Zealand in a beautiful Teal color and they are much more flattering on than in photos. I do not think you can go wrong with Kumfs.
Brands I'd also recommend: berkinstock

I got these in cappuccino and they are adorable TO LOOK AT. I tried them on at home; the footbed is very cushioned and the wedge heel is perfect. Then I wore them to work. Oh my goodness -- the PAIN is crazy bad. The upper vamp hits right where the bony part of your upper foot is and DIGS into it. The leather is stiff, so I am hoping to figure out a way to cushion that part. I can't send them back now. I can't figure out what is wrong with the pair I have, when the other reviews are so good.

I had to respond because I had the same problem as the person who wrote in complaining of terrible pain! If you have a high arch, these will hit in the worst possible place. I too thought they were comfortable and wore them long enough to make them unreturnable, and then walked home barefoot, hobbling! I got these last summer, and now that spring's here again I went on a quest to make these wearable. They are so cute! I tried to stretch them several times and they still kill. In desperation, I actually just cut the center front/top little bit to the first hole, between the top straps, and voila, instant relief! I've never had to cut a shoe before but it worked and I can wear them now! Yes, I had to tighten the straps to the very smallest hole, but at least they won't just sit there wasted, too cute to throw away but too painful to wear. Good luck!

These shoes are super comfortable! I do have almost flat feet and need arch support. My feet are also between normal and wide in width (not quite normal and not quite wide). I'm not a "heel wearer" at all but had no trouble wearing these. Both the brown leather and red suede are cute. Haven't worn them out yet but will update my review if they hurt when I do.
