Love love love them. Put them on to try on, and I still have them on. So comfortable and they look kuhl! Ha. They (Kuhl) notoriously run small, so order a size up. I have six pair of Kuhl pants and have gone up a size in each one. I love the pocket options also as I am out hiking a lot and use them. One of my fave brands. I have tried all the hiking/convertible pants known to mankind - seriously - and I love these, the Pranas and the Columbias, all conveniently carried by Zappos!! I wear a 6-8 and I fit a 10 perfectly.

Brands I'd also recommend: Prana, Columbia

I wanted to write an addendum to my other review in that Kuhl pants do stretch out a little when you wear them but nothing like the ExOfficio pants that are super tight then bag out a lot. You buy Kuhl pants like Lucky jeans. You know they are gonna give a little but not a lot.

As a previous reviewer indicted these pants run very small. I normally wear a 4. I ordered a 6 due to the review (for work pants). Too tight. 8s too tight. Too bad. I like the style and feel but they just don't fit. I give up.

I wear a 6, bought a 6, and they fit like a glove. I love them! I am 5'8" and amazingly, these pants are long enough for me. They must be a bit longer than their advertised 32" inseam. They stretch comfortably and retain their shape and they are great for golf in the fall with all that crouching on the green. My only dislike of these pants is that the cargo pockets on the thighs are too long and things in them hang uncomfortably below the knees. I would love these in Navy blue but Kuhl only makes them in charcoal and khaki.

The fit was perfect. and they look stylish as well. The fabric is lightweight and comfortable. I have warn them for beach walks with my dog. They dry quickly. I ordered another in a different color. Love them!

I bought a pair of these, loved them, the fit, the style, the comfort, the usability so I bought 2 more. Only gripe is too many pockets in places that aren't useful, such as on the bottom of the legs. I removed them, and the left leg pocket, and after one washing the old stitch lines don't show at all. I have had so many compliments on these pants! And they look great with sandals, flats, or boots.

I really like these pants. I get compliments all the time. They are casual without looking too casual. They are very comfortable with a not too low rise. I did order my usual size and returned them for a size up. I wish I would have kept the original pair I ordered. I don't think you need to order a size up, they do stretch a little. Nice brand! Will order this brand in the future.

I love these pants! They are super versatile, you can wear thermals underneath for cold weather and they are so comfortable by themselves. They are not waterproof, but the fabric repels water and they dry quickly. The relaxed jean styling is flattering, so you will not mind being seen in them. Order a size up, they run small. They will stretch out a little after wearing, (nothing a belt will not fix) but go back to their original size in the wash.

I'm a size 6, but had to jump to a size 8 in this style. I suggest you locate a store that carries the Kuhl brand before buying online. Kuhl's pants in general are not sized the same. I bought a pair of black pants and brown pants in another Kuhl style and the black ones fit nice...the brown ones were way too tight. Even the size 8s didn't fit me and the 10s were way too big. I sure would have liked to have a pair of brown pants in that style. so - before purchasing - run to an REI and try them on first...then go with the best deal.

Finally, a pair of hiking pants that not only fit perfectly but look stylish as well! The rise is good, not too low and not too high. I'm 5'7", 125 lb., and the length is perfect. I usually wear a 6 or 8 depending on the manufacturer, but ordered a 10 based on recommendations from others and they fit like a glove when I first put them on. I wore them with a mid-weight base layer underneath and the fit was still felt extremely comfortable. When I took the base layer off, the pants were stretched out somewhat but they would still be fine without a belt. I understand that they return to their normal shape after washing but haven't tried it yet. These pants are so stylish that I would not only wear these to hike, I would wear them around town as well. I like them so much that I think I'm going to order another pair in a different color. Oh, and here's the icing on the cake. I paid full price for these pants when I ordered them, but the day I received them I noticed that Zappos had them on sale so I called Customer Service and they immediately issued a credit!

Incredibly comfortable with functional pockets. I generally am between a 4 and a 6 in Kuhl, but I had to get an 8 in this pant. Very odd sizing.

These pants fit great, look great and have a lot of nice pockets which lay flat when not in use. Nice drape. I read a previous review advising to order a size larger because they run small and I'm glad I did.

These are wonderfully fitted pants. My only complaints would be about the pocket placement. I'm not a climber, but if I was, one of the pocket zippers would come right across the lower knee. Also the bottom of the middle pocket hits the top of the knee so that if you have a little camera in there, it rubs against the knee. What they call khaki is really light sage. Nice color, though. All that being said, I'm looking forward to wearing these pants for travel and hiking purposes.

These were a little bit of a disappointment. Pros: The material and style are nice, and they look great while being comfortable. Cons: They look great only when you don't try to use the cargo pockets. The fabric is so thin, and the pockets so flat, that anything in the cargo pockets is bulky and obvious, ruining the line of the leg. Since the fabric is so flexible and light, anything in the bottom cargoes may as well be on a pendulum instead of safe in a pocket. On a side note, the back pockets fasten with velcro. It's not that they don't look nice, but I'd worry about wearing them with anything that could run or pill, so sweaters, delicate weaves, or satin linings are right out.

I ordered this pant in a 8 in the brown. They fit well but I decided I would like the khaki color instead. I ordered an 8 in the khaki - they are too small! Doesn't seem to be much consistency in regards to sizing. I guess I will try another 8 and see what happens. Thanks Zappos for making it so easy to deal with these sizing inconsistencies!

I really love these pants! I got them for an upcoming trip but have already worn them around town. I have received lots of compliments! They are a true 12 (I am 5'6" 152 pounds with narrow hips, a good length with hiking boots, well sewn and a nice color. They are a bit expensive, but well made and versatile.
