These are great hiking and travel pants! Finally, someone has brought quick drying 100% nylon pants for hiking, taking the geek factor out of the equation. Fit is more of a woman's than juniors. The length is average. My only wish is that they made these in stretch. Maybe in the near future?

Kuhl makes some of the most stylish women’s pants and the Kuhl Jeans are awesome. They look like denim jeans, but they are not. The fabric is light, soft, and thin - perfect for warmer weather. I wear them rock climbing and they allow for aggressive athletic movement. I highly recommend them and other Kuhl pants. Sizes run smaller.

These jeans are lightweight and breathable - great choice for warm, humid climates. With a contemporary (not too low) rise they are ideal for travel, hiking, or running errands without exposing anything you don’t want to be seen when you move & bend. I run between sizes 2 and 4 & they are a little loose on me - wished Kuhl would produce them in 2XS. The pants wash very well and dry on low temperature in a breeze. Got the colors brown and khaki. The colors are nice, but differ a lot from the pictures. The brown is lighter and faded, the khaki is a sand. Overall a recommendable product.

Super disappointed. These are not jeans! And they do not fit like the Kuhl Kuda Canvas pants that I adore. They are a thin nylon material that is awful and has no give or flex. Horrible. Why do they call them jeans? Love Kuhl but not these pants.

I have several pairs of these pants and shorts. Please note that even if they fit tight when you first put them on, they will stretch out within a few hours of wearing them, so don't buy them loose fitting. Also, the brown does "fade" to a worn patina pretty quickly, as it states on the tags. It looks good but it is the worn look. These jeans are good looking and functional for hiking or just going about town. They do wick moisture, but will show some if you are really sweating a lot. I still would recommend these pants.

Love these jeans! Perfect for traveling light (I have 3 pairs I rotate when backpacking, easy to wash and dry overnight). Something seems to have changed with the sizing during the past year. The first pair of Kuhl Jeans I bought were a size 6 and fit comfortably with lots of room. The next 6 I bought (exact same model) a few months later were very tight and I had to return them for an 8, which fit snugly but okay. Zappos were about exchanging rapidly. By the way, I haven't changed shape & still wear the first pair of size 6 with just as much room. Took a few tries, but got it right with a size 8. Maybe there was a batch out there with wrong measurements or labels? Anyway, highly recommend these for someone needing long pants (mix between casual and tailored) in hot weather.

These are comfortable and lightweight. However, they do get very wrinkled if you pack them in a suitcase. They also get a bit stretched out and loose after wearing but go back to normal after washing.

These are great hiking pants. In my opinion, they are a little too sporty for fashionable street wear, though. They're really comfy and light, feel great, and fit well. Overall, I really liked them, but I'm returning them because I would only feel comfortable wearing them while doing outdoor sports and very casual activities. I'm going to try some of the other Kuhl styles for sure. The material and fit is excellent.

My first experience with this brand was a fleece jacket, and last fall I bought a skirt. I was happy with both purchases so I thought I would give their pants a try. I am happy that they come in the short length. The fit is very nice. I would say the material is more comfortable than twill, but not quite as comfortable as stretch or broken-in denim. They are a nice alternative to blue jeans or cargo pants.
