It looks great but there is a definite internal design flaw. It spits out coffee everywhere during the last brew cycle. A huge mess and could be dangerous. I hope they will take mine back. This didn\'t happen right away and I thought it might correct itself after a few uses. I threw away all packaging.

I owned an earlier version of this single serve espresso maker and it lasted for at least 10 years without a problem. This one appears to be the same solid straight-forward product as its predecessor. I\'ve had it for two weeks now and it performs flawlessly. I recommend it unreservedly.

Built like a tank. This is a solid, well built, espresso machine. For the price it doesn't get any better than this. The steam wand works great, too. I've used many different espresso machines over the years both modern and vintage. Usually modern machines are no good, but this little guy is worth his weight in beans.

Definitely worth the money. It took me a little while to get used to having one knob to turn off and on and produce steam for froth. I would buy this again. After frothing milk it is best to let some steam out with the nozzle out of the milk to keep the tip from clogging up. I bought this machine to replace a previous Krups model that I owned for more than ten years.

Have used espresso machines since the early eighties. Have had 3 machines that cost each in the nineties. For a number of reasons this cheap machine is better than all of them. Have used various models of this maker and love the fact that you can make two doubles with each cycle. You can't do that with many of the expensive machines. I use it daily and yes it finally wears out after a couple of years. You do need to run vinegar through it every 3 months or so and be sure to keep it clean.

I am on my third one! While they work great when they work I have experienced (three times) that some small part breaks making the unit unusable. yesterday the knob shaft portion that changes port openings for the steam versus the hot water flow to the espresso grind cup broke. It is plastic! I use this once a day in most cases and have now gone through three units in about 7 years.
Brands I'd also recommend: I am now looking for a better brand than KRUPS
