We hate this rice cooker. It makes a huge mess every time we use it and the rice is sticky almost every time.

Ah, no more burned rice. It's easy after understanding the guide book. I've never met a guide book that did not seem overly complex. I just wanted rice and it's just 4 cups brown rice, water up to the line (about 5 cups), close top, press button. The rice comes out just fine. I do wonder if the plastic vegetable tray offered contains that bad stuff BPA in it. I will have to investigate.
