I rarely buy shoes online but I saw these on a friend and fell in love with the color. I read all the reviews prior to ordering about the sizing and even called to learn more. When I called I was told that the 8 and 9 were the last pairs so I ordered both to be safe. Zappos makes it so easy and pleasant to return I had no fear in this approach. I love these shoes. The color is great but more importantly they are comfortable. Really. From the moment I put them on I knew I could walk forever in them. I do a lot of long city walks and these are perfect. Zappos is really wonderful to buy from.

Big disappointment - I had the higher heeled Kork-Ease in the '70s and really loved the shoe. These seem a bit flat and have a "flat" appearance all the way around. Not much shoe for the price.

Kork-Ease is the best - again - I owned the original Kork-Ease sandals back in the '70s. I did everything in them. I started to search for replacements periodically in the 30+ years since and was curious and delighted when I found them again at Zappos.com. Would they be as comfortable and light on my much older feet? Would the wedge be too high? I bought one pair and subsequently have bought others. The padded foot bed and cork wedge quickly mold to your feet and they are wonderfully light and secure. There is now many more colors than before and they are still somewhat expensive. All things considered, they are as great as I remember.

Now to Put on Some Fleetwood Mac... These take me back to my college days--back then, the standard was the buff-colored leather with the cork or suede covered sole. As I remember the old shoes had stiffer leather that took 4-EVER to break in...the new edition's leather is much softer which eliminates that sometimes painful break in period...As for fit-I am a 9M and for me the 9 was true to size. I can see what some folks are talking about--the way the straps in the front are set are a little tighter on one foot than the other but that quickly loosened up. I get the impression that these shoes are pretty much hand-crafted--therefore you will find some quirky variations from shoe to shoe. But that is part of their charm! The low rider is a nice comfortable take on the platform without looking TOO stodgy--they still have that cool 70's cork-ease look. Overall, I think you will be delighted with them. If you have to order a couple different pairs to get the right fit, so be it. But I got lucky on the first try. One negative--the rubber bottom of the sole is very thin and soft . . . I anticipate I will wear through them in about a month. But I'll just have them resoled when its time.

Bought this in the Natural, size 5. I usually wear a 5 1/2, but the 5 fit perfectly. Very comfortable. Leather is soft, but substantial. Easy to walk in. Sole is flexible, but very sturdy. Gives some height without throwing your back out due to the slight platform at the front. Had the slight 70's “look” I wanted without looking too outlandish. What's nice about the Low-Rider is that it can be dressed up or down and also look either conservative or '”mod” depending on what you wear it with. Very fun and comfortable shoe.

Love these - This shoe is great! The front straps hit my toes a bit funny when I first wore them, but are better now that I've worn it a bit more. They work great with lots of different looks.
