Wow! Love these shoes. They are comfortable, and I can really appreciate the slightly wider width of the base and heel-- helps with balance. The color in the picture is misleading. The leather looks black in the picture, but is actually a dark grey. The "wood" heel looks black in the picture, but is actually a very dark brown. They run a little big I think. I normally wear an 8 or 8 1/2, so I ordered an 8 since they only have whole sizes. The 8 still feels about a half size too big, but I think 7 would be too small. Great shoes, very sexy look! Easy to walk in, lots of grip on the sole.

Unfortunately, had to return these. The ankle strap kept sliding down regardless of how tight I had it. Also, wasn't thrilled about the design on the platform. It cheapened the look, but the leather upper was a nice surprise and definitely charcoal grey, not black.
I'd also recommend: Cordani
