This shoe is exactly what I've been looking for to wear with bell bottom jeans. It is chunky and uber comfortable. However, there is one problem, and it is big enough for me to return the shoes. My big toes touch the leather cap at the end of the shoe causing a loud squeaking noise with every step.

This shoe is fabulous. I love the height it gives me, without the pain of a stiletto. Super comfortable. The toe box is roomy without being boxy. I can't wait to break out this shoe next month when I travel to the warmth of Tucson.

They are too tight in the toes, my other Kork ease in size 8 fit fine. And they do squeak when walking because the toes rubs against the leather. I could try a size 9, which I never ever wear, but when I took six 8 out of box my first thought was they look too small.

I really like the look of this shoe and it could be comfortable except that the foot slides down into the toe box and then causes a squeaking noise as the toe rubs against the leather. I tried this in my normal size 8 and also in a 9 and it happened with both. The 9 did give more toe room but because you slide forward it doesn't matter. I think it's the design of the ankle strap that does not secure the foot on the heel end of the shoe, therefore you slide. Maybe if you have thick enough ankles it might work, who knows!

I returned these. Even though I love KorkEase shoes. They were comfortable, but not flattering. Too bulky. Zappos is great. They are refunding me for both the price of the shoes and the sales tax I paid. Awesome.
Brands I'd also recommend: nothing is quite like KorkEase!
