Great carafe for the most part. Love that it holds two extra cups of coffee. I bought this as a replacement for the one that came with the coffee pot. Even though the package says it is dishwasher safe, I don't recommend it. The glue that holds the plastic-molded spout to the glass carafe didn't hold up in the dishwasher and allowed the pieces to separate slightly, which causes the pot to leak when pouring coffee.

Piece of crap! Glue holding handle to caraffe breaks down and handle separates. For the price of this coffee maker it's a ripoff!
