- Designed to fit all KitchenAid® stand mixers built after 1990.
- Adapter ring attached to the bottom of the bowl makes the attachment compatible with KitchenAid's tilt-head stand mixers.
- Use the enclosed recipes to make up to two quarts of soft-serve ice cream, sorbets, gelato or other frozen desserts.
- The dasher rotates inside the freeze bowl and spreads, scrapes, and mixes the ice cream.
- Freeze bowl - handwash only at room temperature.
- Drive assembly, dasher and adapter ring are dishwasher safe.

You have to turn your freezer to the coldest setting for this unit to work, then it works great! Awesome homemade ice cream is a snap.

I was so excited when I found this. I absolutely love my Kitchen Aid and I think it is incredible. But I have to say that this attachment does not work at all. I did everything it said to do and I got cold milk that was nothing like ice cream. I am extremely disappointed with this item and it was returned.

Love this attachment! Easy to use and clean. I have already made 3 batches of ice cream and have a list of others I can't wait to make. I will never buy store bought ice cream again. I keep it in my deep freezer so it is always ready to go for a quick batch of ice cream.

Timely delivery. In a box that you couldn't tell what the product was. It was a Christmas present and because it was in a Zappos box, there was no way to know what was in it. The box was in excellent shape, therefore, there was no damage to the product. Very pleased with my purchase from Zappos.com.

I am a huge KitchenAid fan already and my wife bought me this a few years back. We have had a blast making all of the different kinds of ice cream. The recipes that they give with the bowl are great! A little intense to make, but made really smooth, creamy, ice cream! We have used other recipes online and they turn out great too.
I'd also recommend: cuisinart, martha stewart
