Kimberly Goldson Eby

Kimberly Goldson, born and raised in the stylish blocks of Brooklyn, New York, has been inspired by fashion from a very early age. As a Fashion Merchandising Management major at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, she began her career by learning the business behind the industry. Kimberly, a self-taught designer, auditioned for and landed a spot on Season 9 of Lifetime Network’s Emmy award winning program Project Runway.

Merely surviving each challenge wasn’t enough for Goldson who literally won over the tough-as-nails judge, Nina Garcia, Fashion Director of Marie Claire magazine, for the biggest challenge of the season: Dressing Nina! Noted throughout the entire competition were Goldson's must-have pants which were personally requested by Garcia. Kimberly made it as a finalist on Project Runway and showed a ten look collection at S/S 2012 Mercedes Benz Fashion Week which was met with rave reviews in the press, including the New York Post which wrote she had the winning collection.

Kimberly Goldson (the brand), is the focus of how she’s developed through that experience and notes “the pants” as the epicenter of that evolution. While the pride and joy of the label is in the fit of the trousers, Kimberly describes its overall aesthetic as timeless pieces in luxurious, natural textiles with just a slight nod to the trends. “I like to take classic silhouettes and styles and put a slight twist to them so that you can keep them in your closet forever,” said Goldson. The line boasts structured shift dresses in season-less wools, sexy blouses in soft silks and “the pants” in wide-legs and slim shapes, which can be worn today through tomorrow.
