It all began in 1970 when Daniel Faufast was inspired to create a brand that embodied a whole generation's way of life and new aspirations. The key words of this young generation determined to live their dreams to the fullest were: independence, optimism, imagination, and escape. These dreams were embodied right down to the way they dressed in practical, colorful clothes and asserted their identities.
One key element that was missing in this imaginative and creative look was a form of footwear. This footwear would be the symbol of an alternative culture and a way of expressing difference. The first shoe appeared in the spring of 1970 and it was called Kickers.
Kickers are strong, practical and comfortable shoes. They are bright, cheerful and comfortable. Kickers also represents the simple, authentic qualities of natural materials. From its beginning Kickers had an international reach and the brand is still present world wide and making shoes for men, women, and children to enjoy.
