Overall:

My daughter who has sensory issues loves these boots. They are light weight and easy to put on. Not sure yet how they do in the deep snow or how water proof yet. My daughter doesn\'t wear socks with shoes so I wish these had a temp rating. So far so good.

I bought these for my incredibly picky five year old daughter without her seeing them first. But with the return policy Zappos has I was confident in my purchase. Upon getting them she tried them on and didn't take them off until it was time for bed, even though it was seventy plus degrees outside. She loves the color and the fit; she has a high instep and refuses to wear anything that is hard to get on or is constricting.

My kids love these boots and ordered them in tan. We haven\\\\\\\'t tried them out in snow yet. They do seem to run small, and we ordered them a couple sizes larger to get a couple of years out of them. The boots are attractive and look well-made. We\\\\\\\'ve had good luck with the Khombu brand!

Overall great boot for the season! Three boots in one! As a family, we are uncompromising around fit and arch support, and this boot fits the bill. We wanted a good snow and wet weather boot to keep my daughter's legs warm and still have a stylish look. This boot hits all three marks: good for snow, rain and style. They are waterproof and surprisingly stain proof as well (we bought the light tan color). A great buy! Now, if only her feet wouldn't grow so fast!

Comfortable but not complete quality - We purchased these shoes for a ski trip to CO. On the second day my 5-year old wore them, the toggle-type tie broke and we had to use a safety pin. She loved the boots and they were comfortable and kept all the snow/cold out, but we were disappointed with the tie breaking so quickly.

My daughter loves this boot. She said they were very comfortable, so much that she wanted to wear them all the time. The only complaint is the cheap plastic tab on the laces. They should just get rid of them. They pulled off in the first wear. We just tied a knot and trimmed the ends.

When my daughter first went to try on her boots the clip on the laces fell off both boots. We ended up just tying the laces together and keeping the boots however as it wasn’t that big a deal or function issue. Comfortable boot and very insulated.

Overall:

Khombu Kids Alpine JR - This snow boot is easy to pull on, is nice and warm, and looks good too. My daughter continues to wear them, even though it’s getting warm out! However, we lost the ends of the ties on the very first wearing. The shoes function just fine without them, though.

Not recommended for snow - We took the boots to play in the snow. Unfortunately they lasted only for about 2 hours, then wetness and coldness started creeping in. At the end of the day, my daughter’s socks were drenched and her feet were ice cold. They are cozy and warm in moderate weather on the way to school for example, but they are not made for a day of fun in the snow.

Khombu boot-very cute - My daughter is enjoying the boots-loves the color and fit. The end of the draw strings is not very well made-it broke the first time we put the boot on. So we just had to tie it. Over all satisfied with the boot!

Great boots at a great price!These boots are the only ones that my picky 3-yr-old daughter will wear. We have tried other name brand boots but she keeps coming back to these- the soles are very flexible compared to most snow boots and they really aren't bulky, yet they are so warm. This is the third year in a row that she has had these boots and I am thinking that we will have to get them again next year. They are a must have for us- 5 stars for sure!

Great-looking and warm.I am an adult that wears a size 4.5 in women’s. They have this exact boot only as low as a 6 in women’s, so I bought the 2.5 kids size. I've worn it in extremely cold weather in the northeast, and in the snow. I found it to be very warm, and it kept me dry, although I tend not to tromp around in the snow all that much. But it was fine for walking around a slushy, icy city and it looks great.

These boots are great...The first thing I noticed about these boots is the rich, very beautiful color (pink). My 7 yr. old loves them. They ARE so very warm that it's best to use them in really cold, challenging weather. My daughter overheated a bit in them at her heated school all day.

Great Durable Boots - My daughter loves these boots. She says they are super comfortable. They also still look brand new after wearing them in the snow a few times. These are the most durable boots I have ever found for her!

Khombu Bryce Kid's Toddler - My kid seems to have a big heel/ankle, so this was the 3rd pair of shoes we tried. They are a size too big, but you can never be sure how fast their feet will grow! But they seem to be comfortable on him; he can walk with no added difficulty. And, here where it gets to be -20 degrees, the temperature rating was important, and seems to keep his toes warm.

Good Buy - The only thing I find difficult is the opening is a little small and is somewhat hard to put the boot on, especially when you have an extra pair of socks on. Otherwise great and very comfortable boots.

Great boot at a great price - I bought this boot for my daughter to wear at the barn when we go riding. My daughter said she loves the boots and wants to wear them all the time! I just thought they would be perfect for her to knock around in, for not a lot of money. I was right!!

Khombu Kids Alpine JR - Stylish appearance in white and quite comfortable according to my child. However, the plastic grommet on the end of the laces used to pull them tight came off on the first pull with both boots. We just tied a knot at the end of the lace, but would have preferred better construction

Functional + cute!The suede is maybe a bit thin and not the best quality but the boot is excellent otherwise - stable & lightweight, with no awkward 'spaceboot' feel; waterproof & lined w/ warm, wicking faux-fur; and that it's laced make it possible to tuck in even the thickest/bunchiest pant legs into the boot shaft. Nice touch to have on boot tongue a rub-strip for the laces to be tied.
