The shaft of this boot is the best. They are warm and quilted and would be better than any regular winter boot, but it seems like the designer just quit at the foot. There it is a hollow hard shell, which was very tight, and the rim of the shell at the top digs when I walk. There is not a lot of foot padding either. If the foot was redesigned I would gladly keep them.

I loved the look of these boots, and they actually felt comfortable. But they looked like rain boots on me- I do have really thin legs though, so maybe on a "normal" sized leg they would look more like "riding boots." If the shaft had not been too wide for me, I would have definitely kept them.

Bummer. Felt and looked like rain boots- HUGE around legs, super wide.Fabric at top of boot was okay, but I planned on cutting it off anyway. Also, not as green as in picture. Kinda funky puce looking. Return. Take note Kensie Girl;These could work if they were narrower in the leg and the vintage green color was improved. I did like the feel of the faux leather, actually.
Brands I'd also recommend: MIA, fluevog, KC reaction, nyla

Boots arrived fast. Very comfortable to wear. The only downside to this item is that I cannot wear my pantleg on the outside of the boot, only tucked in, because the leather is soft and not stiff. Despite that minor issue, the boots are comfy and look great.
