Just got these boots and have worn them twice. They are very comfortable but the heel is a little noisy. I like the softness of the upper part and the outer side zipper is a hip touch. I sometimes wear 10 1/2 but this fits in a 10M with a thick sock so I think it runs a little big.

Love the look of this boot! The heel is a great size, not flat totally but very comfortable for everyday wearing. I have to disagree with the other review that these boots feel 1/2 size bigger; to me they felt 1/2 size smaller. I wear a 8 1/2 and these boots were a bit snug with thin socks. I'm returning for a size 9. My foot is a little wide so if your foot is narrow than I would say stay true to your regular size.

Bought these for myself for Christmas in both black and olive suede -- love them! I have 16" calves and with the zipper down, they slip on easily with a little room -- look great but not tight on my legs and I hide the zipper pull under the buckle. Definitely a casual boot but after a long search, they were well worth the wait. Thank you Zappos!

I have a bad ankle due to a serious break years ago.These boots are incredibly comfortable. I am usually a Mephisto shopper and these boots are a quarter of the price and more comfortable. They provide excellent support. I was even able to walk the entire mall in them.

They weren't wide enough on my calf in jeans, barely fit in tights. The toe was very roomy though, which was an awkward combination. (I'm 5'8", ordered my usual size 9). Also the zipper buckled a little and hurt the outside of my ankle. Have to send them back.

Looked better on-line. The "skinny" name is deceiving as they are not...they look more like rain boots with little shaping. Ran large...by 1/2 size. Returned as not as I expected...back on the hunt!

This classic black tall boot is super cute, especially for those chilly winter days. However, the side zipper is a little bit awkward as it seems to bulge out at the sides a bit. Also, the heel is made out of a strange hard plastic that is not only uncomfortable to walk on because it doesn't provide cushion support, but is also extremely slippery on certain smooth surfaces (ie. hardwood floor) and I have slipped a couple times as a result. Hopefully as I wear them more, the heel will start to rough out? Either way, the boot is super cute and well made with a beautiful black leather finish.
