Kenneth Cole Reaction was introduced in 1996 with a line of men's casual footwear. Kenneth Cole Reaction was born out of a need to make form and function collide, producing stylish and on-trend pieces that still leave room for personal style. Fun, function, youthful, energetic, Reaction is more tongue-in-cheek and not so corporate and serious. Kenneth Cole Reaction is about how individuals put outfits together, not just a pair of shoes.
Kenneth Cole Reaction is more youthful in spirit, fun and colorful than its Kenneth Cole New York counterpart. Bold colors, clean lines and the incorporation of new technology gives Kenneth Cole Reaction a modern sensibility. Form follows function, attracting a comfort-seeking, fast-paced customer. Functional and contemporary, the Kenneth Cole Reaction consumer is perfectly dressed for a casual workday or to enjoy their downtime.

I ordered these sight-unseen for my husband as he has really liked KCRs in the past. It's a great shoe, and the only one that we kept. It's very comfortable although you may want to invest in a pair of gels for an even softer ride. Very nice. Great job, Zappos!

Worn in the house one time. It says in the show it is 100% leather upper. This is not true. The trim stitching is synthetic and scratched off into papery bits. Polish does not restore because it is not leather. Also the soles are very soft and thin. I expect they will last 8 months tops. If on sale half price would keep, but not worth the original cost for dress shoes. Fine for occasional club use (no one would notice) - not good for formal office wear.

I own the brown Key Notes. I saw them on display at a local retailer and fell in love with the color. However, when I got them home, I noticed they were much darker than the store display model. The leather dye on these shoes is made to wear off at the creases over time. They look fantastic after one day's worth of wear and a quick rub down. I used a clean dry rag to clean them up after the first day's use and the appearance improved 200%. They have a wonderful clean/weathered look. Keep this in mind. I took some time while watching TV and bent them and folded them to add more prominent creases. Afterward, I carefully rubbed them with a clean dry rag again and now they've settled into their final appearance. These shoes look phenomenal in brown. If they wore like this in black, I would be disappointed, but I don't own the black version (yet).

Dressier and nicer than they look in the photos. With an added insole these are now my everyday suit shoes and very comfortable. The leather is slick and the long bicycle toe is great. Bottoms no to slick and shoe is not too stiff. Heel is some sot of hard rubber. Impressed.

We bought these shoes for my fiance to where on our wedding day, and love them! But what I loved even more is Zappos customer service. Outstanding! I don't think they can even be any better!

This is quite a stylish shoe, and I\'d recommend it. The only negative is that the bottom is very smooth, almost plasticky, and I don\'t like its design (just the bottom) either.
