I own the brown Key Notes. I saw them on display at a local retailer and fell in love with the color. However, when I got them home, I noticed they were much darker than the store display model. The leather dye on these shoes is made to wear off at the creases over time. They look fantastic after one day's worth of wear and a quick rub down. I used a clean dry rag to clean them up after the first day's use and the appearance improved 200%. They have a wonderful clean/weathered look. Keep this in mind. I took some time while watching TV and bent them and folded them to add more prominent creases. Afterward, I carefully rubbed them with a clean dry rag again and now they've settled into their final appearance. These shoes look phenomenal in brown. If they wore like this in black, I would be disappointed, but I don't own the black version (yet).

Dressier and nicer than they look in the photos. With an added insole these are now my everyday suit shoes and very comfortable. The leather is slick and the long bicycle toe is great. Bottoms no to slick and shoe is not too stiff. Heel is some sot of hard rubber. Impressed.

Kenneth Cole Reaction Key Note - Just got them in. Great looking shoe that would look great for any occasion. Pictures don't do it justice. Design on bottom Sole and Heel is very nice. Shoes are an 11.5 and they fit me just a little larger than that. It is so-so in the comfort dept. yet overall a very stylish pair of shoes, well worth the price.

Sharp, versatile shoe - I love this shoe. First bought the brown one, which is my favorite and looks great with dress pants or jeans. Liked it so much I returned to buy the black one. Not as sharp as the brown but still solid. I have owned them for a couple of months and so far so good. I plan to buy more after wearing these out.

Great Shoes!!! These are by far the greatest and the most comfortable shoes I wore. I have probably 30 pairs of shoes and I can honestly say that these could substitute for them all. They look just as good with jeans as they do with a gray or navy blue suit or the less formal pants/blazer combination. Brown color is fantastic.

Wow! These are really great shoes. I've been told to stay away from KC shoes because they are a bit chunky, and it's true - lots of them are. I ordered these on a whim thanks to Zappos excellent return policy and instantly fell in love. The Key Notes are sleek, elegant, and very hot. I have the lighter of the two browns. They look great with jeans, and can be dressed up with slacks. If you have the guts to do it, I think they would look good with a dark grey suit - it would be a bold black/brown statement. Comfort-wise: I have big feet (14) and they pinch a tiny bit in the toe, but I think it will get better. They're slippery at first, too - you might want to get some rubbery things for the bottom.

Handsome, elegant shoe - Great shoe looks great with dress pants or designer jeans. I'm really a 12 1/2, but the 12 fits perfect. Only complaint is the sole is slippery, but that's common for this style of shoe.

I just wanted to contribute that I got this shoe 1/2 size bigger than usual based on feedback, but I found that too big, so in my opinion, this shoe is "true to size."
