This bag is fantastic. It is light, yet durable and with a lot of space. There is plenty of room to stash all of your business cards, papers, iPad, file folders, and more. It is made of a great-looking leather, and the hardware is all rock-solid. I was impressed from the second I opened the box. It is an incredible value.

Loved the look of the bag, but found the buckles impossibly clunky and difficult. Accessing the inside of my briefcase quickly is a must for me -- the buckles were a deal killer. Bummer.

This item was given as a gift to a friend. He loves it! He is a college prof and was in desperate need of a new book bag. He said it quite elegant and it is exactly what he wanted! It arrived within 3 days of my purchase! I was very impressed with the ease of purchasing on Zappos. Thank you!

Overall, this is a great bag. The bag is structured but the leather has some give so although it retains its shape, it is still soft. The style of this bag is traditional. It looks exactly like the picture. The inside pockets have room for maybe a small notebook/laptop (although this bag is not padded adequately for one, you could still get away with it if you put your notebook in a neoprene sleeve and then into the bag). It also still has room for papers, documents, pens, smartphone etc. and whatever else you might need. In other words, it's a great bag for work. Unfortunately, it does not fit my needs for this one reason: although the double gusset feature offers security with regard to the items you place in the bag (over, say, a magnetic closure) they are a little difficult to open. If you're on the go, and need to open your bag quickly for a train ticket, your phone etc, this would be difficult if not impossible while standing. The only way to properly open the bag is to place it on a flat surface or your lap and open each gusset separately. That said, I still think it's a great bag and the style and quality are topnotch. The gusset issue is not a design flaw per se, just a feature that is not in line with what I am looking for. Hope this helps!
