It is a great backpack for everyday. Very light, as air. A simple design is always best. I like the classic level on front pocket. Inside liner, outside zipper - every detail looks so clean and neat.

This daily backpack is used during the majority of the week while going to work. For the last few months it has held a light jacket, water bottle, two small notebooks, my lunch, a book, vitamin container, a few pens, and there is still room to spare . The Cordura fabric is highly durable and well made; the backpack has been exposed to rainy weather while the inside contents remained completely dry. The external zippers have an attractive design and are tough, not the type of zippers you have to worry about breaking only after a few months of usage. The internal organizer is helpful, as well as the large elastic pocket to keep everything held together. This is my first Kelty product and I've already managed to fall in love with the quality and design that goes into their products. Not to mention the vintage design is unique and the size is perfect for a lightweight, comfortable backpack for daily use. Highly recommended.

Really cute backpack! The only downside: texture of outer canvas is a lint machine. Result after two hours of walking around with backpack rubbing against my sweater: not so cute. Otherwise it's my daily walking/biking bag. Material is light and thin but feels sturdy nonetheless, lots of pockets for all my junk. A good deal!

This backpack is great! I really love it. It's definitely good quality, and I like that the interior has many smaller pockets. I use it when riding my bike as it is on the small side for a backpack, but still roomy enough to hold my laptop and folders. Worth the money for sure!

This bag has a retro feel, and I've gotten a lot of compliments on it. It's light and waterproof. However, it's really small. Smaller than you'd expect. I'm 5'7" and it's dwarfed on me. However, it can still hold a lot of stuff. Due to all of the great interior pockets, it holds the following daily: 10" netbook, sneakers (size 10), gym clothes, makeup kit, keys, another small electronics pouch, iPod, phone, etc. So if you don't mind it looking oddly small, then go for it. Also, as others mentioned, it really does attract fuzz from whatever you're wearing, but it comes off easily.

Add This Brand to My Favorites
In 1952, Dick Kelty, a carpenter, builder, and avid outdoorsman, started making backpacks for his friends in the Sierra Club for 24 bucks a pop. His friends were grateful. These 24-dollar packs revolutionized backpacking, implementing for the first time Kelty's ideas of a hipbelt and lighter aluminum frames. Soon, Kelty and his friends were exploring the Sierra Nevadas with heavy loads, no shoulder pain, going farther, longer, and happier into the wilderness than ever before. Five years later, Dick Kelty quit his carpentry business to start an outdoor gear company. Staked out in an old garage, he welded aluminum tubes into frames while his wife, Nena, cut, sewed, and fitted the pack bags. Today, Kelty gear promises the same dedication to innovation and getting outdoors that Dick Kelty had forty-eight years ago. Kelty started as a company making it easier for friends to enjoy the wilderness, and that's what Kelty still does. Kelty just has a few more friends.

Saw a cute guy on the train with this pack on and instantly texted "Kelty Pack" to myself. Bought one the next day and have been obsessed since. I love that it's top loading, love all the inner pockets and dividers, not to mention the design and quality of materials is superb. Padded straps, easily adjustable. Love.

I ordered a Kelty backpack after my Jansport got sopping wet in a little rain. I thought - based on the dimensions for each - they would be similar sized, but it's about 2/3 smaller. It has, however, proven itself to be more resilient in rain thus far, and is very comfortable and significantly better looking. In fact, I think I am going to order a hiking pack.

Very cute, the zipper doesn't worth as smooth as I like it to, but otherwise I love the cute little size but at the same time room to fit so many things. I love it.

I'm already in love with this bag. It's the perfect size: not to big for crowded buses and concerts, but not so small you look like you stole your little brother's backpack. It's obviously a bit thin, and I wouldn't necessarily trust it to keep contents dry in a downpour, but this little guy fits my 15" laptop (seriously) and has tons of built in compartments for storing all your goodies. I love it.

This is the perfect everyday backpack. It's big enough to hold the basics (books, personal items, packable rain jacket, etc.). It's not big enough for a larger laptop, but the style would probably look odd if it was that large. Although mine is still very new, the zipper and hardware on the back seem ultra durable. With the traveling that I've done so far with it, it was extremely comfortable even when it was totally packed and heavy. The straps are great and the weight distributes really well. My only wish was that key strap was either in the outside pocket or was a little closer to the opening of the main compartment. Given the quality of the other materials, it would've been nice if the clip for keys was metal instead of plastic. Overall, very highly recommended! I look forward to buying another Kelty bag in the future.

I absolutely love this little backpack. It has got really nice detail with leather on top of straps, and metal zippers. It is the perfect size - nice and small. It has a nice retro/stylish look. There are lots of compartments in the main area and side pocket.
