I love these boots! Unique styling and comfortable. I originally ordered size 6.5, which is what I wear in every other Keen shoe/boot I've ever owned. However, 6.5 was way too large in these boots. Sent them back and ordered a 6 and they fit much better. I have a high arch and instep and had no trouble pulling these on, and there's enough room in the boot shaft to tuck in skinny jeans. Love the Wellie styling!

These boots are great! They are the first non-zipper boots I have tried in ages that pull up over my moderately high instep without a painful struggle. I have wide calves and these are comfortable with some space between my leg and the shaft although not enough to wear with jeans tucked in. Leggings work fine and bare legs are great because of the soft liner. They have stretched a bit in the foot. I went from mid weight socks to medium hiking socks to keep them from slipping. I get compliments every time I wear them. I have the potting soil and will probably purchase the henna. These are the best Keens that I have found since the (discontinued) Bend.

Color: the Capulet Olive is actually kind of olive! It looked like an ivory to me in the photo, but it is a distressed suede with mixes of grey, olive and even a little olive-yellow. There are some green scuffs on it too. Cool and fun if you like distressed sided and scuffs! The Potting Soil is a uniform dark taupe brown. Sizing: I normally wear a 7.5 in most of my brands, and with Keen it varies between 7 and 8. In the Willamette, I could've taken a 7.5, except there is a hard part of the back that digs into my Achilles tendon. With the 8, that problem lessened but they may be a bit too roomy. My calves are a little on the wide side, and these didn't leave much room for jeans. The insert is nice and soft but it didn't have much arch support.

Great boots. Very comfortable, practical and attractive. The treads have good traction while walking on wet surfaces.

I read reviews and decided to order 1/2 size up. I'm glad I did. First I ordered the green color, Capulet Olive, and the removable insole piece really bugged my left foot. There is a raised part on the inner part of the insole, and for some reason, it was bothering my left foot, but not my right foot. I returned the Olive pair, thinking that maybe if I ordered another boot, this would not happen. By the way, the olive color is not washed out in person like it is in the photo. It is deeper and darker, almost like a muted grass green color. I then ordered the black, which seems true to the color in the photo, a grayish color. This insole made my left foot feel the same as the first pair of boots I ordered. So I decided to just get an X-Acto knife and cut out the raised part of the insole on the left boot, which was easy enough to do. The boots are extremely comfortable. However, there is metal in them (I know this since I work in a prison, and we go through the metal detector every day), in case you are looking for airline-friendly shoes. Even though the insole irritated my left foot, I still gave the boots 5 stars since it's not Zappos' fault that my feet seem to be made differently!
