I was introduced to Keen Waimea by one of my clients, who had a pretty pr of women's ones. Being a Women's 12, I had to opt for the Men's 10.5. (Please consider making them in 12's!) These sandals have been a lifesaver. I stand all day in my job (drapery workroom owner) and suffered lower back pain for years; however, with the perfect arch support, the pain is gone. They also save my toes from stubbing on my equipment. I feel energized when I wear them (all spring/summer/fall) and have walked miles in them behind active dogs. They are the most comfortable shoes I own. In winter wear the Men's mules.

I owned last year’s version of the Waimea, and these look to be the same style. I came back because I was hoping Keen had fixed the toepost such that it were polyester webbing instead of hard rubber. After trying three different sizes, I could not find one that wouldn’t give me blisters between my toes after a few hours of wear. It was a real shame as I loved the fit/look. On the bright side, I love the Keen Barbados (though the sole is not as nice), and Zappos was great about returns (I had only worn them inside). Keen: Please fix this! I want to buy your product!

I couldn't live without my Keen Waimeas. I wear a women's 12, & so have to resort to Mens 10.5. I'm on my feet all day. My job requires a lot of standing & they have saved my back. The arch support is perfect to reduce back pain. The toe guard has been a lifesaver and a great conversation starter! A very comfortable slip on sandals, great for walking dogs & hiking. My uniform from May - October. From the reviews I see that the main complaint is that Keen's sizes run small, any chance they could consider adding a few larger womens sizes. Most of the women's styles are only up to 11.

Super comfortable and they hide my hideous banged up soccer toes. Please don't stop making these sandals!
