These are great! I am an avid backpacker, and these are perfect -- no waterproofing (as anyone knows, your feet are wet from sweat almost immediately anyway) and the great Keen fit and comfort right out of the box.

Great Boots - I have the Keen sandals and decided to try these. I needed the ankle support. Mostly used for city and short day hikes. Used pretty much daily. Great fit and true Keen comfort. True to size. The toe box is roomy and comfortable.

Fantastic! Great boot! I broke them in doing a quick 4 mile hike through some very hilly forest trails and was very impressed. It's like a good marriage between a stiff hiking boot and a sneaker: great support with wear-all-day comfort. Awesome fit - roomy toebox, good ankle support, and excellent arch and heel support - I feel a lot less energy wasted on the rebound from each step. I also love the lacing system that basically locks in the laces once you've tightened them allowing for an easy tie down.

This is a great hiking boot for those who have a wide foot, especially in the front! I love the large roomy toe box. I hope they consider making a beefier model that would be suitable for light backpacking trips.

If you spend much time on you feet, and in humidity, these shoes are great. The wide box allows my toes to breath, and the mesh helps keep the rest of my feet comfortable in hot and humid locales.

Perfect for a hard to fit, wide toe, skinny heel 14 - I’ve got VERY wide boxy toes and a bunion on one to boot. Have tried a million boots just trying to find one that wouldn't bind the toes and at the same time wouldn't let my heel swim around and blister. These are PERFECT. Just went on a 12 mile hike and feet feel like I just got out of bed. I have always worn 13s, but that would be too short and small in this model. If you are a normal 13, get a 14... I’ve proven this to be the case with another pair of Keens as well. I’m sold, I’m hooked.

Excellent boot! I wear orthotics and have a difficult time finding shoes that can house them. Unlike previous purchases, these boots have a tremendous amount of room for my flipper-shaped foot (who decided feet were shaped like a coke bottle, anyway?!), and were out-of-the-box comfortable. My right foot is not quite a 1/2 size bigger than the left, but this was quickly and cheaply remedied with a trip to my shoe-guy to stretch the width of the right just a bit. First time worn: my first grader's field trip to the KY State Fair; 10am-2pm on the piggies, then after-school deployment, another hour. Took them off at 8:30pm and had no need to stretch or wiggle. They say "medium width" but it is a Keens medium, not average medium. Fabulous! And no, not all Keens are created equally. I tried out 1/2 dozen different styles (both men’s and women’s) before landing in this one.

Freakin' Awesome Boots - Need I say more? With the Keen "winter-type" boots, order a half size larger than your Keen size because of the insulation. These are the same size as my other Keens.
Brands I'd also recommend: Keens of all kinds!

Ouch! Can anyone keep their sizes consistent! I own now my third pair of Keen's low slip on shoes (Boston’s I think). They fit great and I take a 5E. My wife bought these Voyageurs for me for Xmas and I can't even get my foot in them! She even went a half size up. Very annoying.

At first I was going to return them... My husband thought the shoe was too tight. He was not used to the feeling of a "harder" shoe having usually worn tennis shoes. He decided to wear them around the house for 3 days. By day 2 he said "pretty good. There is actually lots of toe room" and by day 15 now...he does not want to take them off. We've gone hiking 3-5 miles on rough terrain and he just loves them like they are extensions of himself. That's how I, too, feel about my Keens.

It’s a shoe - Fits well, comfortable, not too sure about the last clip that locks the shoelace in place. Is it just plastic or metal covered in plastic? If it's just plastic than I have concerns about breaking it.

Great for Women too! Being a woman with wide feet - I got these in Men's EE. Man, these shoes are so comfortable. Great stiff sole for walking, good ankle support. I love the way they look too.

Keen Voyageur - Well when I first opened the box was when I got the WOW of the looks... this boot is sleek and very nice to look at. The mesh vents look pretty sweet having a metallic tint to it. Now the comfort of this boot is pretty good. Has quite a high arch, but you don't really feel it until after awhile. I have noticed that people complain about the rubber material of this shoe, saying "it's too soft" but I think it's hard enough to keep its shape and good enough to keep traction. Now all the reviews on the fact of the sizing (if you've read them) indicate to order a while size larger than your normal foot size. It is TRUE. I'm a 10.5, and I ordered an 11.5, and it's just the perfect fit. So take my word for it, order the right size! I do have a complaint about the back of the shoe where your Achilles is. That part of the boot tends to chafe your Achilles fairly well. I've only been wearing crew socks with these, so I haven’t tried them with hiking socks quite yet. The ventilation of this shoe, I haven’t noticed to really do a heck of a job, but that's probably since I've used these in snow and ice. They stay warm enough in these conditions! But I've been wearing them to break them in for a 120 mile hike I will be taking in April. So I'm hoping that they'll live up to their word on that. Overall I give this boot a 4.5/5 rating, I love the overall look of this boot, and the comfort is pretty nice.

Good light weight boots! When the box arrived I thought something was wrong with the order. It was so light. I thought only one shoe had shipped. These boots are soo light. I also own the more rugged version, but they are heavy. This lighter version provides the looks, the support, and more ventilation. I find my feed don't get as hot as with the Targhee 2 Mid boots. I think these boots might actually get used for some spring hiking.

Great Day Hikers - Light and comfortable, they are perfect for day hiking; they seem sturdy enough for longer trips although I have not tried them yet. They have good ankle support so they should be able to support the greater weights of multiple-day trips. They are great looking boots and should hold up well.

Satisfied customer - I have been well pleased with this hiking boot. I have a pair of Keen sandals and thought I would try their day hiker. Well made, light almost zero break in time. Taking them to Zion & Bryce Nat. Park in a few weeks and feel I've got the boots to make tracks!
