I love these boots! I reluctantly retired my 5-year-old Keen trail shoes in anticipation of a trek to Machu Picchu. Haven't left for Peru yet, but have put many miles on the boots. They're comfy from the get-go, lightweight and feel more like shoes than boots. Nice and wide in the toe box for us bunion-sufferers. Love my Keens!

These boots are good only for light hiking. Replace the insoles immediately in these boots with insoles more shock absorbent and less likely to cause heel blisters The high collar on these boots is very stiff and even after walking 30 miles in them has not softened up causing enough ankle pain that I will no longer wear them.

These shoes are awesome! I have wider feet and have always had a hard time with hiking boots. I also have ankles that roll easily. This shoe covers both of those issues. I wore them around the house one afternoon and the next to work (I need to walk a lot here in NYC) and had zero issues. Comfortable, no blisters, fab. The only part that will take some getting used to is the back part of the boot. It is rigid and slightly uncomfortable but keeps things stable. I am guessing that either my leg or the shoe will break in at some point soon!

Very comfortable, good quality shoe! Get half a size bigger if you plan to wear thick socks.

I've used these boots 6 months now. They fit wide feet well. The breathable mesh upper is super for keeping feet cool when walking and working on hot days. Far superior to a Gortex liner which make my feet very hot. I've walked through streams and these drain well and dry out quickly. Also wore them through winter and feet stayed warm with a wool sock. Good ankle support and traction too. I prefer these to water proof boots. Sized up 1/2 size and they fit well.

Very comfortable right out of the box. Wore them for a week straight with no discomfort at all. They do tend to lose some traction in wet areas.
