These composite safety toe boots are comfortable right out of the box! They are lightweight and have plenty of room for my toes, which is crucial for me. I had to buy a men's size which makes it feel slightly wider but it still fits well. I bought the brindle color which makes them look already 'broken in'. A great product.

These are a great pair of boots! I use them throughout the work week 9-10 hours a day and they perform excellently! Comfortable, durable and they breathe rather well too!

This is a very attractive pair of boots. I very much like the look of it. This pair of boots is a replacement for a five year old pair of similar Keen boots. My old pair was very easy on my feet; comfortable/cushiony soles, tongue and interior walls. This new pair has very stiff soles or bottoms. The soles do not flex naturally when I walk as the soles of my old pair do. So, I alternate wearing the old and the new as I attempt to adjust to the new. Also, the sole and interior wall have little cushion at all compared to my older pair. I wear much thicker socks with the new pair. Again, I really like the look of this new pair. Much more stylish and masculine than the old. However, the old pair even after five winters is much kinder to my feet than the new. Is it not possible to get look and comfort in the same pair of Keen boots?

Overall this appears to be a well built shoe. My only concern is that it is a bit narrow in the toe box. I have Keen sandals and shoes that are very roomy; however, this boot doesn't have the extra room I expected. I think it will be okay, but would have ordered a wide had I known.

Great hiking/work boot!! Felt "broke in" right out of the box! Feels like my DC sneakers, just slightly heaver!! Twelve hour shifts are no problem with this boot; they are narrower than most others - I had to go with the 2E when I normally wear a D. Great boot H, h

These are excellent steel toe boots/shoes. It seems so many steel toe shoes have a toe box that is too small. The toe box is not as big as my non steel Keens, but it is bigger and more comfortable than the others. I bought a half size bigger than my not steel Keens and they fit great.

Great shoe/boot. I got these to walk to the bus in the snow and cold in Boston and they have worked great. It took some time to break them in, as they were a bit stiff at first. But not they are good. I'll probably use them to hike in this summer as well.

Best pair of Steel Toes, I've ever owned. I buy 2 pair per year for work. These are comfortable, fit great. Easy to get on and off. I like the laces, but they do come untied often if you don't tie them tightly.

Have worn Keen's for years. Good looking shoe. Had to play around with the laces until they were fully broke in. Just some Hot Spots over the top of my foot. Love the locking laces and they are light for a protective toe shoe.

Well-made. solid, stable, light-weight. Lovely fit overall. Vertical toe space (with steel toe) better than many but I can't wear heavy socks without feeling crowded -- not uncommon for me with custom orthotics.

I needed new work boots with steel toes. I had Red Wing boots, but the steel toe always seemed tight. I read about the design of the Keen boots and have found they give a lot of room for your toes and do not rub. These boots are very comfortable and good looking. I wear them to go hiking on the weekends, because they feel so good. Super grip on the bottoms, and the reflective stitching shows up well at night.

After 3 years, finally found a safety shoe that doesn't hurt my feet. [Redwings crunched my toes like crazy.] Love the Terghee II, didn't realize Keen made safety shoes too. Used Detroit Mid with no break-in for weekend of heavy handy-man construction around the house and had Some hotspots on top of foot. [Mostly due to my strange feet, not the boot... I always have this problem.] Otherwise very comfy, and are my goto weekend shoe. Harder soles than my 2 y.o. Targhees, so expect they'll hold up better on asphalt and weekend hardwear store trips.

I returned these because I think I got a defective pair. First, there was an oily residue over the box tissue as well as the boot. While it could have been from the manufacturing process, it was unsettling to see the stained tissue with the boots. Second, when I tried on the boots, I felt like was was wearing two completely different pairs of shoes. The foot beds were uneven and the two shoes "wore" differently on my feet. This was a big disappointment, as I love my Keen hiking shoes, and was hoping to wear something similar on job sites. Lastly, these boots were incredibly wide, even considering that most Keen shoes tend to run wide.

These are the most comfortable Steel Toed Work Boots I have ever owned. After 16 years of stationary standing, or stair climbing my feet would ache every night. With these boots, even aver 14 or 15 hours straight, my feet do not hurt. They are well worth the money, and the ease of Zappos makes it even more worth the money.

Most comfortable pair of safety shoes I have ever worn. These are very light weight and are very comfortable!! My wife and daughter both have Keen sandals and love them so when I saw that they made safety shoes I had to give them a try and was very satisfied.
