I bought these for my husband who does construction after years of wearing Red Wing boots. He was leery of them because they don't lace up, but now loves them! He doesn't know how he ever wore anything else! They keep his feet warm and dry for the winter, yet he assures me that they are not too hot to wear all year, since he wears them indoors as well. I can't get him in a regular pair of shoes! He even cleaned them up to wear to our family Christmas party! Amazing! I've gotten my children Keen boots for winter as well now! Great job Keen!

Got these for my boyfriend and he loves them... he never had to break them in, and says he will not go back to the Redwings he's worn for the last 15 years... says they are more comfortable and seem to be wearing great! I love them because they are cuter than his old one, and he loves the extra protection on the toes. Already he's gotten at least one other guy on site (oilfield/construction) to buy the same ones. Great value, great purchase!

I have worked 35 years in the oil industry and worn many types of boots from the USA, Brasil, Asia to Australia. These are as comfortable as the sandals I have from Keen. The name "Keen" was what first caught my attention looking for new boots at Zappos so I bought these. I thought if the sandals are so good the work boots might be as well. Though the reinforced rubberized toe might look funky I am not out to make a fashion statement either. I am always wearing out the toes of my boots crawling around and inspecting things. I would definitely get these again if / when they ever need replacement. They were comfortable the first time I wore them requiring no break in either. Another note is shopping at Zappos is great experience, they deliver as promised. I would have never know Keen even had work boots had I not decided to look on their site (my wife buys from Zappos). Typically you only see or are supplied the standard brand(s) like the bird with the colored wing type or the those other brands with animal names. Yes, try Keen; you will be glad you did!

Brands I'd also recommend: Keen sandals are really good!

Nice construction fit wide no support one of the most uncomfortable boots I ever owned. The company brags the most comfortable you ever wear, 90 day no question, well these were the most uncomfortable ever I tried wearing them 5 days I just cant do it anymore sore legs, back, etc. They fit too wide and no arch support.

Superior construction and material. A little wide for fit, this boot was one of the most non comfortable boots I ever owned. My knees and back could not wear these boots I tried twice two days each sore the next day. They are unwearable for me, but boot is made fantastic, just no support for a flat foot like me!

I actually had a small problem with this boot. What was great about Zappos is how easy they were about sending me a replacement. Their customer service is really great.
