I love Keens - this is my 3rd pair. I wear 9D or medium shoes (have for 40 or 50 years) and I found these to be a hair too tight when I received the 9Ds. They needed to be either a size wider or a size bigger - but just barely. Since no wider size was available, I re-ordered 9 1/2 D and look forward to receiving them.

This shoe is typical of Keen products, quality! Easy break in and comfortable to walk/jog.

So far, so good. This is my first pair of Keens. If you're looking for a performance shoe without animal products that is also waterproof, this is the one.

This shoe is nice. Only problem is the diagonal notch on the heel of both shoes splits in the colored foam after the first few times wearing the shoes. It hasn't cause a failure in the heal yet but it is of concern. I have 2 pairs of this shoe (different color) and it has happened on both. It has a nice arch but between the 2 pairs I own one feels wider then the other.

I have worn a number of Keen shoes and love their fit (I have size 14 wide feet). I purchased these shoes directly from the Keenfootwear.com website at the end of January. It is now the end of May and I have had to submit a warranty claim because the bottom of the soles on both shoes cracked, right along the recessed, colored band below the heel of the shoe. I also noticed that the Tyron, which was just released this year, is no longer listed anywhere on the Keen website. So, beware looks like there may have been a manufacturing or design defect.

These are very comfortable shoes, but after wearing for two weeks the soles started tearing near the heel on both shoes. Definitely defective.

The Tryon is a roomy toed trail walker. Keen's suit me well. I'm a size 15D with a broad toe spread. I need a lot of arch support to keep my ankles healthy and these seem to do the trick, but I can't say they have excellent arch support. The Tryon seems rugged and are light. My wife and I have been going on extended walks daily and these have been my shoe of choice for the walks. Some Keen's I've had don't lock my heel in very well, but these are good. The upper material is a tough, non-stretch synthetic. It doesn't seem to collect burrs, pill up, or allow slop in the shoe. It seems to be a pretty good material. Every Keen I've ever owned (6 pairs or more) eventually failed due to glue failure between the leather and the sole.

I purchased these for my two week trip to Spain. Climbing cobble-stone streets and hiking paths was definitely made easier with these. Overall I was happy with the style and the function. Since when traveling it is usually best to limit the amount of shoes you bring, choosing these as the primary pair is definitely recommended because of their versatility.

For those of you who have had good experience with Keen - be wary. I have purchased several different styles and most are good. These feel a bit on the cheap side. The upper is made of this thin flexible material which is good and bad. Good because it conforms to your foot bad because overall support is compromised. The foot bed doesn't feel supportive as the other.

Perfect! Great fit and as anticipated. The green is a little brighter than it looks online but still cool. Thanks Zappos. Oh and I always order a 1/2 sz up in keens and did this time as well. and they r right on.

These are great shoes. I was able to wear them right out of the box. I wore them all over New York City all day, and my feet never hurt. They are completely worth the price. I expect to have them a long time.

Tryon was great. Until the foam in the sole started tearing just ahead of the heel plate (after one month of use). That seems to be a design flaw by Keen. Zappos customer service was great with warranty return and exchange for other shoes.

A complete whiff from Keen. Unfortunate. Overall length felt true to size, but these were far too narrow for anyone to run in comfortably, unless you remove your little toes.

Great shoe. Fits perfectly. Using it as my work shoe, so, after being on my feet all day, my feet don't hurt at all. The sizing is really good, too.
