The slate black color is really a beautiful medium shade of brown and the blue stripe is almost unnoticeable. I have plantar fasciitis and a muscle tear. These are the only shoes other than my Asics Nimbus that feel great, and give me lots of arch support. Only negative is that they rubbed my ankle bone on one foot, so I added an extra thin heel insert under the Spenco inserts I use. It's not "clunky" looking at all. Really a cute casual shoe and comfy all day, but took a little breaking in.

This shoe is not at all comfortable. It hurts! Tried it for several days, but unable to wear it. The leather is stiff. The tongue is too long by 1/2 to 3/4 inch. It rubbed a sore spot on the front of my ankle. Ouch. My feet, ankles, and knees hurt after wearing these shoes. A waste of money. Buy the Keen Presidio instead!

I love these shoes! They are comfortable and look pretty nice even at work. Few issues to note. 1. This shoe seemed like it should handle wet surfaces well. However I slip on pretty much any slightly damp surface (even on non skid areas), it's a bit ridiculous. 2. I don't know if my ankle bone sticks out more than others but I find it sometimes is a bit sore/rubbed. 3. After only a few weeks of wear in my urban lifestyle, there are some stains on the shoe. Nevertheless, I love this shoe and it's look!

I've had Keens before and so this new pair didn't disappoint. I have bunions, so the wide toebox is very accommodating and comfortable. They feel stiffer than my last pair, which is why I knocked a star off of "comfort." Otherwise, a very high quality product.
I'd also recommend: Merrill

These shoes are great! My first pair of keens and they wont be my last. I tried these on after a long day of work and they were so comfortable. Wore them all day. I have wider feet and they fit perfectly. Really great for working indoors and being outdoors in the snow.
