I love these boots! Order up a 1/2 size. Nice, roomy toe box for folks with foot issues like bunions or metatarsal pain. Excellent arch support, and the ankle part is high enough to keep snow and water out, but is not too tight or stiff for walking. I have to be careful about the shoes I wear; I have a lot of foot pain from years of walking/running. These boots feel like a good running shoe, and they are warm and waterproof. I wore them on a 4 hour snowshoe hike in Steamboat Springs and could not have been happier. My feet were warm and dry all day, and I had no foot pain.

I wore these right out of the box on a 5-mile search and rescue mission. I wouldn't try that on anything but Keens. They were great. I have very wide feet, so Keens are great for me. But these seemed even wider than the other 8 pairs I've had. With thinner summer socks, the laced sides almost meet in the middle when tightened, which rarely happens to me! In thick winter socks, they will be perfect. If you have narrower feet, you might want to choose a different style. The waterproofing is excellent. My only wish is for a couple of speed lugs at the top for quick lacing.

These were very comfortable right out of the box! I was worried the toe design would make them look really clunky but was pleasantly surprised that it doesn't. I had also ordered a pair of Merrells and ended up keeping both. I give these the edge for warmth and waterproofing as I have been wearing them for walking in deep snow and slush, so these will be my go-to winter boots for years to come now. However I think the Merrells have a little more arch support and much better tread for all season hiking. With both brands I ordered a half size up, as most reviewers have noted. I normally wear a 6.5 but the size 7s fit perfectly with thick winter socks.
I'd also recommend: Merrell

This would have been a great boot, and I am truly heart broken, but I have a bunion that developed with my left foot. I regret that I am forced to send these back. The boot is beautiful! I would go a half size larger.
I'd also recommend: I love Keen, I have sandals. Timberland has always been a favorite. I love anything that is comfor

I know Keen boots run a little small, I wear an 11 and ordered them in this size; wearing liner thin socks they fit perfectly and are plenty warm. I have worn them walking in snow and mud and on a five mile snow shoe trek. I would recommend them and advise ordering up half a size if possible.
