Great shoe, but not all-weather. Size 11 was a perfect fit for my low volume 10/10.5 C's. Lots of toe space and no heel slippage. Fits about the same as my worn-out Targhee II Lo's that I'm retiring. I bumped up a half size for the Siskiyou, as I did with the Targhee, for a better fit. Took the Siskiyou's for a 2-hr tour of the mall to check comfort and it gives a comfortable ride with just about the right amount of cushion for hard surfaces. Also, wore them on my daily 2-hour exercise walk this morning in 30 deg dry weather. Feet felt chilled within the first hour, even with my usual medium-weight wool socks. Not a surprise, since these appear to be designed for mild weather and breathability. Great traits for hot summer days. Probably will not stay dry in heavy rain or puddle wading. Go with the Targhee II's if you need waterproofing. I have other weatherproof hikers that I can use for inclement or cold weather hikes. I chose these to use as my every-day casual shoes as well as my daily exercise walks (on warmer days). In short, these are very comfortable and will serve the purposes for which I bought them. I chose the Siskiyou over its cousins, the Voyageur and Targhee II, mostly for aesthetic reasons. Any of the three would have met my particular needs. Thanks to Zappos for a great purchasing experience!

A nice shoe and very comfortable. Very roomy. One problem: two of the shoelace loops broke when I would pull the shoestrings tight. I fixed one with super glue, and the other one became frayed and the loop completely unraveled. Now I just tighten the laces very carefully.

I really do love these shoes. I have a wide foot and although I love Keen shoes, the women's shoes were just too narrow. Someone suggested I try the men's Keens, which I did and I am SO glad I did! Once I figured out my foot size in men's shoes (I subtracted 2 sizes), I ordered these shoes and they worked perfectly. They are exactly wide enough, even in the regular width, and they are fairly comfortable. I am a chef and I work on my feet for most of the day. While these shoes are not highly cushioned and my feet do get tired by the end of the day, they are quite comfortable. I think they are not designed for on-your-feet-all-day wear, and would probably be far better suited to a trail or just average day wear. You won't be disappointed.

I wanted a new pair of shoes to wear birding in warm dry weather that looked good, were light, were reasonably priced and were ventilated but didn't let in dew from the grass either. The Siskiyou seems to fill the bill perfectly. I have had them about a month and, though it's not summer yet, I have worn them in the field and they performed perfectly. Before ordering I tried on my Keen Newport sandals with socks to get an idea of what size to order and ordered a half size larger and they are perfect. I would recommend these shoes to anyone.

This is actually one of the coolest pairs of shoes I have ever owned. They have a super cool style and look but they have a newly upgraded stiffer sole. For the last two summers I have purchased a pair of Voyageurs' and they have a taller, softer sole which is nice at first but they always had a tendency to start to lean to the side and that would play havoc on my ankles and knees. The Siskiyou has more support and longer lasting stiffer sole which is the determining difference for me to continue to buy these shoes in the summer months so that my feet can properly breath with the vented sides.
Brands I'd also recommend: I would recommend Keens to anyone who doesn\'t currently use them.

As with every Keen I've tried, they are all 1/2 size small. Normally I wear an 11, but wear an 11.5 in a Keen. As to the shoe, if you've worn their Voyageur, it's those with a stiffer sole. If you are unfamiliar with the other Keen shoes, the Siskiyou has a large toe box, a comfortable fit (out-of-the-box broken in) and good foot moisture management with the fabric on the sides. It has a stiffer sole than other Keen shoes and feels good. So that's the good, here's the bad. I've been a Keen customer for years and have always found that the workmanship is excellent. However I've been through 2 pairs of Siskiyous in less than two weeks. In both cases, the lugs (the nylon loops that replaced eyelets) tore out. One pair tore at the the of toe shoe and the other at the top where the laces get tied. When I look at the stitching that holds the lugs together it's not very buff and if it hadn't ripped out now it would have done so promptly. So a bad run, or overall bad quality? Don't know, however I like these shoes enough that I'll try a pair of them in another 6 months when hopefully everything is worked out.

I used to wear the Newports but could not get them in my size so I tried the Siskiyou. Great shoe! I really like them. They are sturdy and seems a little bit lighter than the Newports.

I totally echo Bill H.'s experience below. Huge fan of Keens but this shoe is a turd. Great fit and wear out of the box. Typical Keen big toe box. 1/2 size small so order up. First order, the lacing loop at the top of the lacing tore out within two weeks with minimal wear on my part. As always Zappos great on the return. Given track record with Keen, opted for second try. Again, shoe great out of the box, but at the two month mark of regular wear (in office/not trail), another lacing loop gave way lower down the lacing system. Literally, exact same as Bill H's experience.

Love Zappos and love Keens. This shoe is extremely comfortable. My husband wore it all over Europe and was completely comfortable. It is however, more green in color than what the picture portrays. We thought it would be more grey in color. Other than that, great buy!

I have been wearing Merrill for the past few years but had heard good things about Keen, so I thought I would try them. I am not disappointed. The biggest difference is the toe room. My feet don\'t feel as constricted as most sports shoes will do but still have the support and feel secure. Not sure about the other comments as to going a size larger.

Very good shoe. Been using about a month thus far and am quite pleased with the comfort and initial durability. Walk at least 4 miles per day in them with my dogs every morning and feet are not sore after!

Loved these shoes and would buy them again. Keens are always my favorite. Thank you Zappos. I ordered two sizes, got them in two days and returned one pair the next day. Couldn't be easier. I would have to drive 70 miles to get to the closest place to buy Keens from where I live.

These shoes are nice and wide, even though they are not marked as such. (For me this was a huge plus as I have wide feet.) Another plus - they are just straight-up brown, as opposed to the stupid neon colors that so many of these sort of shoes come in. The foot opening is rather wide, which is great for casual use as they are really easy to get on and off, but might not be ideal for people who want to use them for regular trekking as they are hard to get very tight. Overall, I would heartily recommend them as a daily casual-use shoe.

Had been wearing Voyageurs without any issues other than soles wearing down quickly-walk about 120 miles/month. Got these after reading reviews and was extremely disappointed with them. Toe box and arch/insole were not what I expected. Metatarsal pain has resulted in these being relegated to yard shoes. First pair of disppointing Keens in five years.

Purchased these shoes for my pops. He typically wears 4E which I had no idea what was until Zappos told me. Well Keen had no wide width, let alone super wide wide width, shoes but I purchased these for the he!! of it and, guess what? Perfect, he loves the shoes and is a self declared "Keen Man!" Zappos for Life!

Without a doubt, my husband's favorite pair of Keens (and he really likes his others). He has very flat feet that cause him some foot pain, but these shoes (for whatever reason-- I believe the arch support) have been truly beneficial. He'd wear them everyday to work if they were dressy. As it is, he wears them the rest of the time.

These do not have the same support or comfort as the Targhee II. I bought both, and these just don't compare. They'd be great if you were comparing them to other shoes, but once you try the Targhees, you can't settle.
