This is a lightweight, comfortable boot. I like that this boot is wide enough in the toe area for your feet and midweight socks. That said, I do wish there was more cushion in the insole. I will probably add my own. Overall, a decent boot.

Comfortable, lightweight, low-profile hiking boot. Feels more like a high-top sneaker than a boot in terms of comfort. Not too flashy in person, which is a positive in my opinion. I have not walked through puddles with them, though did walk my dog in the rain through grass and leaves and they kept my feet dry. They also kept me stable walking downhill on wet grass- the tread is soft and pliable and provides good traction. My only complaint, and unfortunately it's a big one, is that the boot feels like the biggest size 8 shoe I've ever owned. I'm usually a 7.5 or an 8 in a padded, modern-type shoe. After wearing them for a week I feel like my feet are swimming, and I have wide feet toward my toes, with a typical narrow female heel. They felt okay when I tried them on in the house to make the keep or return decision, but they get stretched-out very quickly. They are too long and too wide to be sized as 8 med. I will attempt to remedy the fit with padded hiking socks, but it's doubtful that will cut it at this point. Order a half size smaller than you normally would to be safe, as these aren't cheap. Overall, they are good shoes, I just wish they fit better. I hope this helped someone.

Received these boots and left for Scotland the very next day...no time for breaking in, but they were superbly comfortable in a wide variety of weather and terrain. Highly recommended for Isle hiking, walking on cobblestone paths, and strolling through villages that have existed since the 14th century (and even before).

I felt the boot was small because you would have had to wear thin socks with it. I found the tongue of the boot to be bulky and not lie nice when lacing. I also wanted a boot with speed lace hooks at the top. I was able to find another Keen boot that was more "true to size" with a better lacing system. Overall, I felt this boot was very comfortable and offered great support for someone with high arches.

Nice looking for a hiking boot and I like the light weight and flexibility, but probably sending them back for two reasons: 1) Not enough cushion in the insole (less than other Keens I've tried), 2) Don't love the lacing system - you can't easily tighten the mid-section across the arch. The laces are hard to pull and don't exert force in the right direction. Prefer the Red Rock Mid for both those reasons - more functional lacing system that can give you extra support through the arch, and more comfortable insole.

Just gave these the ultimate test, shoveling snow in a blizzard, they passed with flying colors! Very comfy and warm. Keen website said they run 1/2 a size small, that is true. I take a 9-1/2, bought these in size 10, they were perfect.

As someone who hasn't tried on hiking boots for 15 years, these boots are super comfortable and light, two key qualities for me. I bought them for snowshoeing, which I haven't done yet but am hopeful. Otherwise they'll come in handy for regular walks. I got these less than 24 hours from ordering them, thank you Zappos.

I like these boots. I live in ND, so we get lots of snow and yuck, so the waterproof feature is nice. I was recommended these boots by a friend and will definitely purchase again!

This boot looked much cuter on the website. It looks dark and dingy once I got it home. The only other problem is that the toe area is not as wide as other Keen shoes and it is very tight on the top of my foot and uncomfortable. I am returning them.

I love the style, it's very comfortable but I must agree with the previous comment. I am usually 7, sometimes 7.5. I order these in 7.5 to wear with thick socks. The biggest 7.5 I have ever seen! Considering previous comment, I will return 7.5 and order 7.

I got these for my wife; she loves them. They breathe a lot, and they're good for sunny days. They soaked up water in the snow - it's more of a light hiking shoe with great support and durability. These aren't too ugly - more colors would be nice. I'm getting all the browns in this category.

Great shoes! I work on sand dunes and I'm very pleased that no sand finds its way in the lining on these shoes, perfect!

These boots are great! I didn't notice a major size discrepancy as other reported (I think I just discovered my feet are slightly wider than average). They're nice and lightweight too.

These are awesome! Let me start off by saying I am not a hiker or even a person that wears sneakers. I live in sandals and heels but on trip to Alaska these were my go to shoes! They are super comfy and not half bad looking either! They run a half size small, I normally wear a 6 but had to exchange them for a 6 1/2.

These are not as sturdy as I would have hoped. A little loose around the mid-portion of my foot and hard to tighten sufficiently. Arch support is okay, but not enough for my high arches.

These boots are too cute! I thought Keen was a reputable brand and wanted very much so to love these boot. But, after a summer of moderate use the boots are falling apart, the soles are completely worn, holes have developed in the breathable material on the sides, and both laces have ripped.
