These shoes are very comfortable, but I would warn prospective buyers that "Dusty Olive" looks far different from what you see in the pictures: the shoes are actually a dark green. In fact, I can't really wear them with very much because they are so green. I was expecting a faded grey-green, but they are simply just green. The laces are a different color as well, so I will probably change them out for a different color. I do not recommend this color, unless you want some very dark green shoes.

This is the best pair of shoes I've ever purchased. They're very comfortable, lightweight and versatile, which I can wear them with just about type of slacks. So far my ultimate purchase of 2013, I'm planning to buy another pair because these are getting too much road time.

I wish I had believed the negative reviews before making this purchase. Let me begin by stating that I am a Keen lifer. For someone with an active lifestyle who has wide feet that need good arch support, Keen normally offers style, comfort, and durability. I have come to expect these qualities right out of the box with no breaking in time required. I ignored the negative reviews for this product because *surely* they must have been the result of customer error. I was wrong. Within 15 minutes of wearing these around my house to make sure they fit correctly, a spot had already begun to wear on my achilles. Just like the previous reviewers indicated, there is an area on the back of these shoes that actually digs into your heel like a screw twisting into a wine cork. Although these shoes are quite stylish, they do not live up to the same comfort and quality as other Keen products.

Previous reviews disparaging the comfort of this shoe almost stopped me from buying it. Although I'm glad I knew of the issues some had with the shoes, I'm glad I didn't let that stop me from buying them. These are comfortable and stylish, just be sure to not lace them too tight or you will get the irritating rub on the back of your heel other reviewers mentioned. I bought the shiitake color which doesn't seem to be available anymore. I may go back for the navy blue pair as well for the fall. Haven't gone sock-less in these yet and don't really plan on doing so. These are a fall/cold spring shoe. I'll save my Sperry's for when it gets warm.

I've bought other Keen shoes and have had great luck. Very good fit and quality. The Santa Cruz are not like the others. They are poorly made and have no support.
