The strap on this shoe is tight. I have stretches it out some, but it is still tighter than I would like. The shoe itself is comfortable. I wish I would've gotten the one without the strap though.

These shoes are very stylish/good looking. I purchased these thinking they would have a similar fit and comfort level as the Keen Sienna MJ Leather (which I have in Gargoyle and are one of the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever own). Well. I am disappointed. The Rivington MJ leather material is much hard than the Sienna's and rubbs against my skin making it very red and sore. The band on the top of the foot also feels a little too tight. The arch support is ok. These shoes run a half size too small. I ordered these in 6.5, my usual size, and had to have them exchanged for size 7. Great looking shoes, but not very comfortable. My plan is to stuff them with newspaper and see if they stretch. I'm all for looking good, but I'm past the age of sacrificing comfort for style (I'm 34).

I have given up on finding a pair of reasonably priced, cute, and supportive ballet flats. These are super cute, the red was fun color with the multi-color straps, but ugh, the fit! For me, horrible. They remind me of the pair of Earth Mary Janes I tried a few years back with weird "arch" support for the non-arch side of my feet! I wish I would have returned those, but I won't make the same mistake with these. Light-weight and probably comfortable if you don't need a lot of support.

I'd also recommend: Dansko, Chaco, Sanita

The Keen Rivington is okay, overall. Its soles grip well over slippery and rough surfaces. But it's not very comfortable - the straps are too tight, shoe has very little arch support or cushioning, and the textured uppers seem to suck up and hold dust. If had had the opportunity, I would probably have returned it and tried another style. I bought it the day before I traveled to Turkey, wanting a single shoe that could span walking tours and dinners out in the evening. I didn't love the sole (hard, minimal arch support) or the way the toe box felt. I slipped in a liner which helped. I put the shoes on and left for the airport. Shortly after boarding the plane, I realized that the straps were too tight. What felt snug at first soon became painful. I eventually wore the shoe as a ballerina, with the strap under my foot. The straps were only used on rugged terrain for extra support. Bottom line: the shoe did the job for the trip, but it's now been retired to the back of my closet.

Very comfortable and great arch support. I have several pair of Keen shoes. I usually have to go up a half of size (from 9 to 9.5) because of the way they cut their cuts. Based on the reviews, I ordered my normal size because reviewers said the shoes ran small. The 9s were too small in the toe, but they are comfortable around the rest of the foot. I am going to exchange the shoe for the size 9.5 and see how they fit.

I'd also recommend: Clark's
