Keen's design of larger footbeds for the toes is lacking in this design completely. The shoe fits more like a regular hiking shoe and thus pinches and constricts my foot. I find it very uncomfortable, and for just a little more money wise will be returning this shoe for the Voyageur.
Brands I'd also recommend: Keen Voyageur, Keen Targhee

I usually wear a 7.5 street shoe. A friend said Palisades run small and she was right. I ordered a size 8 and they fit perfectly with my wool hiking socks. The shoes are durable and so far have proven to be water resistant yet breathable.

Great shoe! I have a narrow foot so sometimes Keens are far too wide in the toe box, but this shoe is perfect. I bought it for hiking but it's cuter than it looks online so I'll probably wear it on other casual outings as well.

If you are a Keen's fan, you will love this shoe. I bought it as a winter-intermediate shoe, for those days when winter boots weren't quite called for, but I still needed some extra warmth and stability. I like the arch support and the hiking-meets-casual style. Good for a meander on the trail or doing your on-foot commute.

I got these in a 7½ and an 8. I am usually a 7½. The 7½ felt a little snug across the toes and the outer sole seemed to curve up toward the top of the shoe a bit. This may have contributed to the narrowness. The 8 was a little long and the 7½ was too snug so they are going back. They would be the perfect shoes for slightly narrower feet or in a wide width. But I occasionally will take wide shoes, so my experience may not be typical. Tread, suppport, and warmth were good.

Looks can be deceiving. These shoes aren't waterproof. After reading the fine-print, I returned these shoes and bought the BROOKS GHOST GORE-TEX. You should too. This shoe is comfortable and attractive compared to shoes in a similar category, but I don't understand why anyone would buy a shoe that looks like this unless it's waterproof. Fortunately for you, I tried a bunch of shoes, and I can recommend you try the BROOKS GHOST GORE-TEX. The Brooks shoe feels like a sneaker, but gives you waterproof protection like a boot. Hooray.
