The only reason I got these were to have comfortable but stylish shoes to waitress in, but now I wear them all the time! At first I was disappointed that my feet felt a bit restricted (I like a lot of breathing room for my feet). But I broke them in after about a month and now after three months they are as comfy as ever. The straps weren't my favorite either, but those break in too!

If it weren't for the strap. Everything about these shoes is comfortable, except for that darn strap! I love Mary Janes and have all sorts of different versions of them by other brands, and never have I had a problem with a strap like this. And even though I keep trying to wear them, it doesn't seem to stretch out.

I read the reviews and knew about the elastic strap being too tight. I thought it would stretch. I love the shoe other than the fact I\'ve worn the shoe several months now and the strap still kills my foot by the end of the day. I love Keen shoes but wish they\'d make the strap more stretchy.

I love the look of these shoes, compared to the Sydney that I wear for work (ready for pair #3). If only they had a buckle to adjust. The elastic can get tight, when the feet are tired and a bit swollen. I'd buy another pair if they take the elastic strap away, and replace it with a buckle closure!!

This has been a great pair of shoes. I mostly wear them to work with my dress slacks. They are comfortable, go with everything, and seem to be holding up great. I like that I can even wear them when I walk on my breaks for exercise.

I love my Keens... Comfortable right out of the box, but not squishy and soggy. Nice casual shoe I can wear with pants or casual skirts and still walk around. I have horrible feet (pronation, bunions) and love how Keens allow me to walk and stand for hours without pain. These particular Mary Janes are supportive, too. The strap is kind of tight, but not painful because it is stretchy - but I need the tightness due to my flat feet, so it works out.

Comfortable, but so clunky looking. Next to my trusty sneakers, these seemed like the shoes of a giant--and I'm usually size 5.5/6. Three stars overall because they were a bit heavy.

I have to agree ladies...that darn strap. It is very tight and by the end of the day I couldn't wait to get these shoes off of my feet. My feet were really swollen and red where the strap had been compressing them. The heels rubbed blisters on both feet and I also got blisters where the strap connects on the inside of the shoes. But, they are cute and really comfortable other than the hard leather that rubbed blisters. I did receive lots of compliments on them, and I am sure they will be fine once I have broken them in and my feet have gotten used to them. The things we women do for cute shoes!

Great buy - I love these shoes, but they do run a bit small. I bought 10.5 and had to exchange them for size 11.

Super Shoe - I love this shoe and I love Keens. They look very nice and they are VERY comfortable. The only problem I have had is that when you are walking in them and your foot presses on the insole, you are in effect squishing the insole down and so this prevents the problem I have when sitting. When sitting I have some discomfort where the strap goes across my foot. When not pressing down on the insole by standing, my foot is too tight in the shoe and the strap area hurts and my foot got a little numb. I am going to try to stretch the strap a bit to see if it helps and I do have larger feet so if you have skinny feet this may not be an issue for you. When I noticed this I was on a LONG drive too so I am sure that did not help matters. On regular days when I am up and about more, I have not noticed this at all and as a matter of fact have had far less foot pain for the 1st time in decades.

Worth getting used to - My only real problem with these shoes is that the elastic strap on the top is very, very tight until they're broken in. I have narrow, skinny feet, so it's not that my feet were falling out of the top of them, but they are simply very tight in order to hold your foot in place. After a week or so of regular wear, they're fabulous.

Rigid heel! I own several pair of Keen's, but these were so uncomfortable I had to send them back. The heel is so rigid it dug in and hurt. I like the way they look, but I could not walk in them.

They look good but that darn strap... OK. I love these shoes. They look soo cute. The footbed is comfortable. You can wear them without socks and your foot doesn’t get sweaty and gross. The heel is a little raised but really cute and comfortable. The look is just wonderful. I wear an 8.5. I have pretty average feet so I know that I don’t need anything special in order for a great shoe to fit. BUT, these shoes have a strap that is elastic and it really doesn’t give as much as it should. The strap strangles your foot. I dont have a high arch. I think it’s the construction of the strap. It’s too short and it doesn’t stretch as much as it should. Now, it does stretch a bit. But not as much as I expected it. I kept the shoes because I was determined to make them work. They are just too cute to return. But, the strap makes it so I can only wear them at most once a week. The rest of the time I am recovering from the red, raw welt it forms on the top and inside of my foot. (Where the seam is located). I still like them; I wish Keen would re-engineer these shoes. They would be sooo worth it if it weren’t for that stupid strap.

Same but different - I have always been a fan of Keen shoes. I have worn out 3 pair so you know that I had them for a long time. This shoe, while good-looking and comfortable, was not of the quality of my previous Keen shoes. It is stiff and the footbed is noticeably less cushioned. While I am keeping these as they meet my needs at this time, I will be less likely to keep Keens in the future unless they go back to their hallmark comfort footbed.

I work in an area where I have to walk from building to building often during the day and when it's cold and snowy my feet are just plain cold and feel damp all day. I think these will take care of that issue! Felt true to size with a little room left for hefty socks. Looking forward to next snowstorm (kinda!) to try these out.

Disappointed - I should not be too disappointed. I read all the other reviews and they were right again. This Keen was very comfortable except the strap across the top was way too tight. I have regular arches and the strap cut the circulation off so much my feet below the strap swelled up. I wore them for two days hoping I could stretch the strap out and did not succeed. The support in the shoe is ok. The back of the heels did cause blisters. Too bad I thought Keen finally had a dressy shoe to wear to work.

Wanted a more refined look - I didn't walk around in these much but they seemed to fit fine. I like the look too but the shoe lost out to another, more refined competitor.

Looks ok, comfy shoes besides the strap - I'm a size 8.5 and it fits just fine. The only thing that is bugging me is the strap... I have normal feet, but that strap is sure tight. I hope it will loosen up over time. However, the shoe is really comfy to walk in. Wore them the first time today and walked a mile to work and back and it was fine.

Great Mary Janes! I own several pairs of Keens. I bought these to replace costume shoes that I have to spend 10 hours a day in. These are a dream! I did get some sore spots rubbing where the straps are sewn - but I chalk that up to the amount of time I was in them at a stretch and walking vigorously. However, they are breaking in nicely.

Fit my pregnant feet- yay! I bought these because I was 32 weeks pregnant and running out of shoes that fit. I have one pair of Keen clogs and love them but needed another pair to get through the winter so I got these. I was a bit nervous about them because I have a hard time finding shoes that fit me very well. They fit GREAT even with swollen feet- and not a single day of uncomfortable breaking in! My mother-in-law has problems with high arches and will be buying these soon too. Very highly recommended!
