Thanks again!! As usual Zappos has come through with a great shoe and outstanding service. Got this shoe one day later in time for my birthday. I love this shoe. I work as a flooring designer and need both support comfort and good looks. I ordered a half size larger. This shoe fits the bill. Zappos customer service is the best in the industry.

Great Boot - Bought this boot to climb Kili in. Haven't made the climb yet, but have worn this in -10 degree Chicago weather on some long hikes and it keeps my toes toasty warm and completely dry. It's the best looking hiking boot I’ve come across as well. No blisters, I've worn them five times and they feel "broken-in". I'll update my review after the climb, mid-March. BTW, the boot fits true to size, I'm an 8 and it fits with normal socks and hiking socks. I also have slightly wide feet and the width of this boot was perfect.

Keen Oregon PCT - I purchased these because I have loved the shoes so much and needed a pair of boots so thought I would try these and as I expected they perform just as well as the shoes. Comfortable right out of the box, keep feet dry, excellent support. Can't say enough good about the entire Keen line. I own like 10 pairs. Have suffered with heel spurs and plantar fasciitis for 20 years and since I have started wearing these, no more foot pain! I wear Keens for everything- work, walking, shopping, hiking etc. For those of us who suffer with foot troubles, the Keens have been a real blessing! Please Keen, bring in some nursing shoes (all white), that would be great!
Brands I'd also recommend: Only wear Keen's

Awesome Boots - I love these boots. I have had a chronic back problem for 4 years. I look for the best shoes and boots money can buy. These boots are so comfortable with great support. I own a landscaping company and I wear these boots for approx. 10 hours a day. I plan on buying a second pair for back up.

Great boot, just not for me - Sad I had to return these. They are super cute, lots of cushion, great quality... but i have a wider foot and they were pinching a bit, I have never had to get wide boots before. I got both a 7 and 7.5. 7 (usually what I wear in a boot)was the right length but too narrow. 7.5 was a tad long in length, width was better but not perfect. It was a tough choice, but I decided to return, because for the price I felt to justify it they should fit perfectly. Sad it didn't work out for me!

Pretty Good Boot - I am a big fan of Keens. I have 18 different pairs. Like most Keens, the shoe itself will last forever, but the midsole (the arch support and whatnot) is usually a different story. I can get away with using the insoles that come w/ Keens for a good while, then have to replace them. My point is that this boot seems no different, although I had really hoped and expected otherwise from a more "hardcore" hiking boot. I really do like them, the break-in period is short, and I am going to wear them on my upcoming honeymoon to Glacier Nat'l Park. It laces well, the lacing hooks hold tight, and the tongue doesn't bunch uncomfortably. I have not noticed any problems at all with seams rubbing wrong as other reviewers have. I have worn thick cotton sock (my preference) as well as mid-weight wool blend hiking socks. The tread is decent, I wish it was a little deeper. I give the look 3 stars because I really wish they had at least one other color option... maybe a dark grey with blue or green. The sizing is like most other Keens. All but one of my keens are 8.5 and these are the same. Sizing compared to regular sneakers though, it runs a half size small, imo.

Keen Oregon PCT women's hiking boot - This would be a great boot if it had more room in the toe box. But it is very tight across the toes, so I had to return it. The sole appears to be wide enough, but apparently they cut the upper so tight across the toes that it squeezes your foot. They should keep the wide sole and provide a more generous cut on the upper across the forefoot.
Brands I'd also recommend: The Asolo hiking boot works for me.

Very nice boot. Good room around toes, good support, nice fit around heel area. This will be my first real hiking boot purchase and trying to be very careful in my selection. Still in the selection process. Tried several other brands and so far this is my favorite. Only wore it around house because still have not completely made up mind. One arch seems to bother me a little, not sure if it is boot or foot. However, it looks like the insoles come out very easy if you want to use your own. If I decide to keep this boot and try it on hike, I will provide update on performance. BTW, Zappos is the best! The order process is very easy, they get the order out amazingly fast. They keep you updated on status. They keep their promise on the return process, no hassles. I will definitely use them from now on. In fact, I now feel like I am betraying them if they don't have what I am looking for and have to go somewhere else.

I use this boot for hiking. I find it very comfortable and supportive. The waterproofing is decent but should still be treated. The toe box is roomy and allows for toe swelling on long distance hikes. The boots run 1/2 size small.

I love these boots! I'm an occasional hiker with a 15 year old pair of (ugly and very heavy) Timberlands that I've been trying to replace for several years now. I have a lot of trouble fitting shoes and boots and about once a year I look for hiking boots. And each year, after exhausting local shops, I just gave up and went back to the Timberlands. We were planning a trip to Ireland and, again, I was preparing for the frustrating hunt for new hiking boots. But then I decided to try Zappos -- it's easy and I had nothing to lose. I read all the reviews for the five and four star boots, and ordered 6 pairs, expecting I'd have to send them all back. None of the boots were right -- but the Keens were just a bit tight and seemed the likeliest to fit in the next size. Fortunately, Zappos did have the next size in stock. When I got the next size boots, the minute I put them on they felt like they were made for me! We just came back from our trip to Ireland and the first time I wore the boots, we went on on a 7-hour hike up and down cliffs, over rocky terrain, and I had not one complaint. (My husband was amazed that I didn't have to break the boots in and that I didn't end up with blisters!) All I can say is the boots feel like a glove, they cushion my feet, and give great support over the whole foot, the ankle, and the heel. Everybody's feet are different, so these may not be the boots for you. But if you are looking for a hiking boot that will protect your feet, feel good, and look good too, these are definitely worth a try. And with Zappos, you have nothing to lose.

Nope. I love Keen's shoes, particularly the Briggs. But the Oregon PCT didn't work for me because the boot was a little too narrow, and there was a "bubble" at the toe of one boot that rubbed on my toe. The bubble, I assume, was just a flaw in that particular boot, but I had hoped that Keen would use the Briggs approach so that my just slightly wider foot would work in this boot. But nope!

I love Keens, I have 8 pairs. They're all size 8.5, so when I ordered my Oregon PCT, I thought an 8.5 would work. I've taken them on 2 backpacking trips (more than 15 miles each) and it's very obvious that they're too small. I will be replacing these boots with the same pair, just a different size. Learn from my mistakes and order at least a half size up. Otherwise, these boots rock. My partner in crime has the men's version and he absolutely loves them. Keen rules, but their sizing could use a little help. I rated this 5 stars on comfort because it was the fit that made my experience uncomfortable.

I work on concrete everyday, spending 8-10 hrs on my feet, and not standing still! Good shoes that stand the test are a must for me. I now have 3 pair of Keens and they are the best!! I have different ones for the season and all I need is a little arch support and to change them everyday and they will last a long time! I have tried other shoes and work boots, but nothing keeps my feet comfortable all day long, except for my Keens!!! My feet are happy and so is my pocketbook from shopping on Zappos, the no shipping is the best! Thanks!

Love these boots! From the moment I took them out of the box they felt like I had them for years. I wear them all the time. I read all the reviews that people suggested to buy them a half size bigger. I didn't. They fit perfectly in my size. I own about 50 or so of Keen shoes and love each and every one of them. I cannot say enough about this boot other than buy them! You will be glad you did.
Brands I'd also recommend: KEEN :)

I really like these shoes. I really wanted something a little lighter and less expensive, but after several months of shopping around and finding nothing comfortable (including some other Keen models) I found these in a local store. They only had the mens version, but I tried them on anyway and liked them a lot. So I came to (or rather back to Zappos) and found the womens version here. I ended up with a half size large than I normally order in Keens, primarily so I could wear thick socks in MN in the winter with them. These are serious boots (stiff and a bit heavy), but comfortable. I have worn them in snow and ice over the last month quite comfortably on several terrains. I look forward to seeing how they do in the spring when I am out dog training in marshy fields. My only complaints are small: the laces are too short, and the tab on the back to pull them on is too small to get a finger through, so nearly useless. Not deal breakers by any means.

I normally wear an 8 in Keens, but my lovely husband ordered an 8.5 by mistake and they fit perfect. They are a little stiff out of the box, but I’m sure they will break-in nicely. The heel box is very comfortable and snug. I did add an arch support to the boot.

I have several pairs of Keens. I normally wear a 7.5 in their shoes (with thin socks) and an 8 in boots (with thick socks). I ordered these in an 8. They felt a little bigger than my other size 8 Keen boots. I might have tried a 7.5, but these had a very stiff piece that felt like it would rub my ankle bones raw if I hiked in them. Not sure if I got a defective pair or not. I do have pretty prominent ankle bones too, so it could just be me, but these were the first Keen's I've tried that just didn't feel right.

I bought the Keen Oregon PCT hiking boots to replace an old pair of Merrells. I have a 7 day backpacking trip to Wyoming coming up this summer and wanted to break in a new pair of boots. I tried the Targhee 2s on in a local store, and they were very comfortable, but seemed too "squishy" to provide adequate support for a prolonged trip on rigorous terrain. The PCTs are much stiffer and have a higher ankle. I love the wide toe box with the rubber toe cap. I’ve gone "rucking" with my backpack on some local trails and they’ve been great. I think they will be just the ticket for my trip. If you are going on day hikes or need something for casual daily use, they are probably overkill and I would go with the Targhee.

Completely love these boots... have been happy with all my Keens (and I have a lot)! Comfortable, great support, and look good, too. For someone with flat feet and very wide instep, they will make hiking mount katadin even better.
