Designed to perform in the adverse conditions of a marine environment, the razor sipped outsole and 3mm lugs provides excellent traction both on land and on the slick surfaces of boat decks or river rocks. A true hybrid, the waterproof nubuck upper withstand the abuse of saltwater and dirt, while providing supple comfort and a stylish look.
- Non marking outsole rubber compound provides superior coefficient of friction for all environments.
- Razor sipped pods on outsole provide increased surface area for greater traction on smooth surfaces.
- Compression molded EVA midsole is contoured for superior comfort and support of the foot structure.
- Elastic Closure with Cord Lock creates a quick, snug fit, while allowing flexibility.
- Waterproof nubuck leather upper wraps around the foot for stability, allowing generous ventilation.
- 3M Reflective pull tabs provide added visibility during night time adventures.

I bought these shoes and they are tight on my feet. I hope they let me return them. The cost is not a lot for a shoe you can wear. They also run short.

My first venture into active-style shoes. Not a fashion statement for sure - but comfortable and sturdy for mountain missions and everyday wear. Did have to go up a half size. Came back and bought a second pair of Keen's later in summer.

I love these shoes. The arch support and foot support are awesome. I especially love the fact you can loosen them if your feet swell. No break in time at all.

These shoes are awesome. I can slip them on for a quick trip to the grocery store or a day at the beach. The toe area is big and roomy and the drawstring helps customize and create a perfect fit. These are my favorite shoes for adventure travel - a must have!

I bought these shoes for the specific reason of hiking while in Maui. First time I wore them was the hike on volcano Haleakala. They were amazing. It was like I had them for a long time. If you want to be comfortable while hiking, crossing streams, definitely the shoe for you!

I purchased these to have for walking sandals and they are perfect! Pavement only though as rocks tend to get into the sandal if you happen to cross any type of gravel.

I am a Keen fan through and through. I have several different styles of Keens. This is my second pair of Keen sandals. They are great on trips which require lots of walking. I wear them on trips to Europe. I was asked by the Dutch guide on one of the trips what type shoe I was wearing!

Love these sandals, just hiked for 4 days in Yellowstone National Park. Good for warm weather hiking, walking. Add lightweight socks when it's cool. Not "cute", but very practical, waterproof, too.

Wonderful sandals! The first few days I wore them, I developed some minor blisters on my heal and pinky toes, but I stuck it out and the sandals quickly were broken in and feel wonderful. I will definitely buy Keens again!

I have worn this sandal before and was delighted to find it available in my size at a great discounted price. The free shipping and easy return policy of Zappos made the decision to order on line very easy. The shoe style is great for my work outdoors at a native plant nursery. It is extremely comfortable and quite safe with the covered toes.

How do you define perfection? Name it the Keen Newport Sandal. These sandals are wonderful. Not that I am the only one to say this. Everywhere I wear them, I get compliments. Most of the time people say it's because they too have a pair.

Very comfortable! Used them for rafting as well as walking around town. Also great for amusement parks with water rides, so that you don't have to slog around in wet sneakers all day!

This was my first experience with Zappos, and they made it most excellent. These shoes definitely run small, so go ahead and order 1/2 size up without hesitation. I had to return the first shipment because the shoes were too small (I ignored the advice of previous customers), and Zappos provided free priority shipping on both the initial and replacement orders. Very nice - you can feel the love!

These shoes are awesome and I am not one to casually throw that word around. I needed something for urban hikes (yes, some of us in Los Angeles actually walk) and the Keen Newports fit the bill. They are tough, they are comfortable, they let my toes spread out and they are cool looking. If you are in the market for dainty sandals, these are not it. But if you want a sturdy walking shoe, buy them. They do run half a size small. I normally wear an 8 and the 8½ fits perfectly.
