These are so cute. I ordered these for my three year old boy. I've had moms ask where I had bought them! My son wears a size 12, in these he's an 11. They run about a 1/2 size big.

I get a new pair of similar Keens for my four-year old son every summer and this year I decided to try this open-toed model to let his dogs breathe a bit more. The typical rubber-toe box is gone but his toes are sufficiently far from the tip so that there is still protection. Even though these are a medium width, my son's wide foot fits very well with its confines. The adjustable straps from toe to instep and around the ankle make this a custom fit either way. The soles offer a surprising amount of grip for tramping around playscapes, playgrounds and going the opposite way on a slide, which when you're a kid, that's a true measure of a quality shoe. Did I mention that these all-terrain vehicles are also washable?

Once again, Zappos saves the day! Super fast shipping and excellent customer service. I hadn't tried Keen shoes before although I know they're quite popular. I thought these would be a great shoe for my three-year-old who needs to move a little faster than a flip flop will allow. Last summer we tried a different brand (also pricey) that gave him blisters and smelled terrible. These Keen Zumas have been fantastic with no blisters, comfy, easy on and off. I think these will be our go-to summer shoes for years to come and I will most likely buy them for my other two boys as well!

These turned out to be my 5-year-old son's favorite shoes for the whole summer! He gets all the traction he needs on rocks, in dirt, on grass, but also avoids sweaty feet because they breathe. The Velcro closure is a dream, just like the adult version, and he has fun tucking the elastic tightening cord into itself. Finally an easy-to-wear kid's shoe that makes him feel like a grown up!

I bought these shoes to replace my two-year-old son's Crocs. I will never go back! Unlike Crocs, these shoes have great traction, even on slick surfaces, and they look much nicer with jeans or shorts. They are almost as easy to out on and take off as Crocs. My little guy has worn them on the beach and in the ocean, and they have been great. They don't slip off at all, and the sand rinses right off. My son still has chubby baby feet, and I often have difficulty closing shoes that have Velcro straps. No problem with these! They are very adjustable, and they close very nicely. he webbing that they are made of is very soft and flexible, and they seem to be very comfortable. They seem to be true to size; my son measures at a 6 1/2, and the 7 is just a hair big for him. I only wish that they came in more color choices; a neutral khaki would be nice.

My son loves these shoes. He can use them any where and he says they are very comfortable. They are easy to put on and they stay on really well. Will be buying more of these as he gets older.

You can't go wrong with Keen for kids, my kids get a new pair the start of each summer and wear them (and pretty much only them) all summer and into the fall and then the spring if they still fit. Love that this style is open toe versus the past year all were closed toe, better now that my kids are older as it is more like a traditional sandal but strong enough for kids to play, climb, run, beach, etc. Definitely would buy again, got the ink one for my boy and the pink with Hawaiian flowers for my girl.

What a great alternative to floppy cheap sandals we have bought in the past. Great response from my 5 and 6 year olds, who wear them daily. No complaints from either boy, and they tell me they are comfortable. Looks like a quality shoe and I hope they hold up so I can pass them down to the younger kids!

I know Keen seems to be an expensive brand, but I have to say its worth every single penny! I ordered these for my son last year when he was just starting to walk...loved them so much I ordered them again this year! They are sturdy, great quality, and have such a great grip on the bottom I don't worry about him climbing rocks or running on the jungle gym at the park! Did I mention they're waterproof!? Spend your money on something that's going to last you the whole summer and then some! Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

Perfect summer shoe! It has the support for the athletic activities and the openness of a sandal. I like it a lot better than the similar one with the closed toe - these seems more summery/like a sandal. Highly recommend it.
