A nice alternative to a slip-on tennis shoe. We've had them about 2 months now. The shoes wear well, are flexible, not smelling, good traction- great for active playing. If your foot is wider it may be a little tight putting your foot into the shoe. Size chart is a bit off, ordered a size too large according to their measurements. Of course, its easy to return at Zappos.

My almost 9-year old daughter fell in love with these Keen's. We have been wearing Keen's for over 3 years. They are an awesome sandal. I especially like Keen's because the toe's are still protected when they are riding their bikes. Easy to clean, overall. I highly recommended Keen's to all kids (even I love mine).

First of all, Zappos rocks, Keen as a shoe rocks so there isn't much to say! Ummm, I did recently put these in the wash as the toe was getting dirty and scuffed and everything came back squeaky clean! My daughter is exceptionally hard on shoes and Keen are standing up to the test thus far! I also love that they're just a little bit wider than normal shoes for those of us with wider feet! Keen are my go to shoes!

I absolutely love this sandal! I have wide feet and it fits them perfectly. It is super flexible, lightweight, and breathable. All while still offering great protection. The perfect spring/summer shoe! I measure at a kids' 5.5 and the 5 still has about a half size of room so definitely order down!
Brands I'd also recommend: Sperry Top-Sider, Stride Rite

Ordered these for my 8-year-old daughter and she swears they're her favorite sandals. They're comfortable and never once pinched her feet or gave her blisters. They're cool enough to use in sandal weather but breathe enough and provide support for running around outside and riding bikes. Love our Keens!

I had been looking for an alternative to hot sneakers and flimsy flip flops/Crocs for my 7 year old daughter. Mainly, I wanted something she could slip on as quickly as the flip flops and Crocs, but something that provided more coverage and safety when riding her scooter, bike, or just running around the yard with the neighbor kids. These were perfect! My daughter does not have to lace them, so they are fairly easy to slip on -- and cooler than a sneaker and sock, although she does complain about wearing them on a sandy playground etc. that sand gets in them, but the same would be true for any summer sandal. The size was very true as my daughter has some 13's and just entering the 1's. I ordered a 1 and was pleased that they stayed on with some room to grow. I love the slightly weathered look of the canvas and the little "nicks" and worn look of the rubber toe...makes them look very cute and fashionable at the same time. Not sure about a water-type shoe as they are canvas and I don't imagine they would dry very quickly -- but with the cut outs, they would do better than traditional sneaker. Overall I was extremely pleased with price/no shipping fees/return policy in case I was not satisfied/ and guarantee. Very pleased with fast shipping in about 5 days (weekend included) and the product!

Perfect blend between sandal and sneaker. My daughter loves wearing them biking riding or to the park. I feel good that her toes and feet are protected. We have already gotten them wet a few times and they still look great.

The Keen Coronado Sandal has been a great Summer day camp shoe! My daughter has 2 pairs and a pair of Keen water sandals and a pair of Coronado sneakers. I have found Keen to work best for a kid who is hard on shoes. The thick toe caps are indestructible and the soles last! The Coronado Sandal's removable insole is thick, cushy and supportive and holds up to my once a week washing. Best summer shoe ever!

These sandals were recommended by our daughter's Physical Therapist. His comment was they will last and are good quality sandals. She likes them very much. They even have room for the inserts she has to wear. A good buy.
